Two urban youths Gopal (Prem Nath) and Pran (Raj Kapoor) with contrasting beliefs about love take their annual holiday in Kashmir. Both get attracted to local beauties Neela (Nimmi) and Reshma (Nargis) respectively. While Gopal is a philanderer, Pran is serious about his love for Reshma. After they return to their homes, Gopal resumes his casanova ways but Pran loses himself in thoughts about Reshma. Will Pran and Gopal ever return to their lovers in Kashmir? Thank You Shemaroo. I am Rama Mohan Prasad Sarva a retired Principal and a native of Machilipatnam. When this film was released, the world was in teens for me. The songs and music are outstanding and made the youth crazy at that time.Of the two music directors,sankar was a telugu man- not that it matters.Nimmi outshone all the others in acting. It is an irony of fate that Raj Kapoor , the showman who was so slim in the film later became very obese and plumpy. Thank You once again for bringing back memories of my youth.

Shankar was not a Telugu man. He was came from a Hindi speaking family from Hyderabad. I doubt if he even spoke Telugu.

এ ধরনে ছবি আর হবে বলে আমার মনে হয় না।ছবির গান গুলা চির কাল অমর হয়ে থাকবে। আ হা কি মধূর গান আর অভীনয়। ছোট বেলায় ছবিটি দেখেছি আজ আবার দেখলাম। মরার আগে ও মনে থাকবে।

What a performance by Premnath ji a character with negative shades but a solid performance
One shouldn't take any action without knowing the reality. The father of Reshma has not seen the fact .He was in mistake because he did not know that real fact. Teaching is very good Reshma and Pra.

Main तो फ़िल्म की starting से ही अलग अलग कल्पनाएं किये जा रहा था, actress का पानी में डूबना, फिर हीरो की गाड़ी accident ये भी turning point लग रहे थे, हमारे मस्तिष्क में इस तरह का envoirnment तैयार कर दिया गया है कि फ़िल्म में चहेता मरे या प्यार करने वालों की शादी न हो तो हम भावुक हो जाते हैं, कितनी सादगीपूर्ण फ़िल्म है
