The curving of the sleeve is different from how you curve the front of the kaftan. Curving the sleeve requires that you place the cap height which is the armhole divided by 4, then drawing that straight line and taking it out by half inch just as i explained in the video.
Just came across this video, nice 👍 my problem is even after watching and following the process, I will end up doing rhe wrong thing . Its either is too small or too big to fit in. It’s really frustrating .
I think i know where the issue is coming from. Before you cut the sleeve, measure half of the armhole measurement on the armhole you've cut. If it gives you like 11 inches, when you fold your sleeve to cut, minus 1 inch from it i.e if the armhole is 11 inches, make your fold 10inches. When you curve the sleeve, it'll now become 11 inches.

Okay sir I think I understand now,does this method apply to all the numbers ? Or is just 11 and above ? What if I get 10 should I reduce to 9 ?
Yes. It applies to all numbers. If you got 10 as half of the armhole. Remove 1 inch. That'll give you 9 inches.
