Lovers - South Island (Knuckles' theme) - 'Sonic The Fighters' - Sad Slow Jam Remix

So this is a return to Sonic the Fighters to finish this piece, as I'd been working on it for a while.
Done as more of a proof of concept of the remix of Knuckles' theme, using assets from Ghosthack's Future Soul and R&B pack to complete it. Vocals are me, but pitched up in UpTempo with some reverb to change up the shape of some parts.
The idea for this was the idea of the end of a relationship and the feelings that go with that. I ended up channeling into this a lot of the feelings from a pretty sudden and jarring friend group breakup that put me in a bad headspace for a long while. This piece includes a lot of the regret and frustration I felt with how things ended.
