I have a question - is it possible that I gave someone access to my computer's desktop, when I was only sending a specific file that was located there? during a zoom meeting, I sent someone a PDF file as a private chat message. it seemed like I sent this specific file (it appeared with the name of the file and the icon of PDF). but when I clicked to open it, the entire folder of my desktop appeared. I went back to my desktop, and moved the file to another folder. then I went back to the chat and clicked again on the file that I sent - it didn't open. a note appeared, saying that "the file has been removed". the note even included the path to my desktop! I only removed the file from my private desktop, in my private computer. how is this possible?
Hi, you click the green share screen button at the bottom. You need to make sure that your PowerPoint application is open before clicking the Sharescreen.
Having issue with bluetooth headphones (using for meetings at home that need to be confidential or just to not disturb family in other rooms)...when i share a video (share sound and optimized for video all turned on), everyone else can hear the video but I cannot hear the video thru my bluetooth headphones. If i am not using the headphones and sound is directly thru my computer speaker, i can hear the video. Is there a workaround setting to make the sound work for a shared video thru my bluetooth headphones?
Hi, thank you for your comment. It’s difficult to diagnose and solve this issue because everyone has a different equipment setup. One suggestion I would make is to check your computer’s audio settings as well as Zoom’s audio settings and make sure they are both set to your Bluetooth headset as the audio output. It is sometimes possible for Zoom’s meeting audio to be sent to headphones but not the other computer audio. The other thing I would recommend is checking Zoom’s faq page. I have found a lot of solutions to technical problems there in the past. Hope this helps

No, anyone can share if the chat setting is set to Everyone - you can disable participant chat if you want/need to so they can't share all
