- Mel Blanc gives Bugs Bunny his voice in this Marriott's Great America spot from 1977. A real classic. Great song!
Originally promoting the Gurnee park, this ad probably could have been used to promote the California Great America, too, as they were nearly identical parks. Развлечения
I used to wonder why I never saw any insects around Bugs Bunny.
Been searching for this for so long…
The roller coaster that is shown going through that corkscrew-part looks like the 'Demon' which is the oldest roller-coaster (along with the Whizzer) at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois.
Except Jimmy's Great America back in Santa Clara, California back in thirteen years by me from 1986 to 2004 for eighteen years, Jimmy Kielbasa of San Jose, California.
This comment is pretty neat.
@@TheTVMadman Yeah. Thanks. I really love Jimmy's Great America in Santa Clara, California and All-Star Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois the better. Well, I hope everyone enjoys their days at Jimmy's Great America in Santa Clara, California and All-Star Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illionis, you hear?
@@MrJimmy527 you made it up lol
@@DilanCommunications Thank you.
Was Bugs Bunny in an Uncle Sam outfit thought up by Marriott, or was it taken from one of his early WB cartoons?
The amusement park was renamed into Six Flags Great America in 1984.
Marriott sold the California park in 1985; it was later owned by the City of Santa Clara, Paramount, and Cedar Grove.
The Santa Clara, CA park is very different than the more well known one in Gurnee, illinois. Plus, the former park is my home park
Back when you could get a hamburger at lunchtime in less than an hour.
They weren't identical. Gurnee is the only park to have the double decker carousel shown at the end of the clip.
they were identical back then not so much now but they both have the same carousel til this day
The Santa Clara park always had the double decker carousel, but not the American Eagle.
" 'Sugar' is the only word in the English language that begins with an 's' pronounced like 'sh'."
"Are you sure about that?"
