'Maybe we should warm up with some scales??' Gotta love Kevin.
He's my favourite character
surrealIdeal that’s actually very true too
That's really a weird thing to say coming from the batterist
Don’t know what scale he’s gonna play on that😂
@Syphix Games 😂😂😂😂
1:05 -1:12 A short lived wholesome moment 😔
do u know if its a real song and or what its called?
@@daunteuflay4859 Midnight Rambler by The Rolling Stones
Imagine an edit where that’s where it ends 😂😂😂
@@erikfelik6426 no that’s what they play after that’s not this song
@@owen4528 Oh my bad, wish I could've gotten an earlier response lol
3:26 I'd recognize that helicopter movement anywhere, looks like he finally made it to the right gig.
As a fellow drummer, I gotta commend my guy Kevin for keeping it simple at 0:03 and locking in with Darryl's piano. Obviously it's not the best swing in the world but it let the music breathe for Andy's vocals to shine right through! Since the ride cymbal is one of the main timekeepers for jazz and blues, Kevin got the job done here.
Is this type of music blues or jazz?
@@alcambio8923 Yes
I have so much to learn
the fact that andy wrote down all the scatting is just in character
3:14 these are actually impressive drumming skills
Mate's been listening too much Keith Moon
he look goofy tho
@@OvercookedSteak no you
I am not sure if you don't know who he is. Check you the video "this drummer is at the wrong gig". He is a legend
I dont know if you guys noticed or not,but he is talking about Kevin!
Guy on the left: having a seizure 3:25
Kevin on the right: trying to get a seizure too 3:27
😂😂😂
The "guy" on the left is no random actor, he's Steve Moore known as the mad drummer also known from the video "this drummer is at the wrong gig"
@@goose2835i thought that was him. i came to the comments just to see if it was. thanks!
And the warehouse guy at the back just cracked me up xD
thought kevin was about to pull off a mean turbo dab.
2:18 Andy’s guitar vanishes!
Probably a animation error
2:31 its behind her.. you can see it under her legs
He’s no longer a musician, no no hes a magician
"Tambourines are for girlfriends"
Quite the Yoko ono reference 🤣
Or Stevie Nicks
Seeing the drummer go full god mode on Kevin just make me wanna die of laughter, and Kevin trying his best completes it. 😂😂
Even when Robert's friends took over, Darryl was owning that tambourine
Creed should've been in this bit
Edit:
Well this blew up
Hey yeah! Why wasn’t he?
He would have messed up his cover.
Creed fucking sucks.
@@stanknugget creed was a real rocker.
mcaddicts More like a real piece of shit.
3:14 had me dead😂😂😂
Darryl with the tambourine and Kevin with the gurio worked really well with the song.
0:15 is an extremely underrated gag
My favourite part of the scene
The things I love about the office is sometimes they just confidently throw a good joke
Andy: has an ACOUSTIC guitar, unplugs it, and then starts doing whatever that was, instead of just keep playing it xD
Problem is that the mix level was too high for an acoustic to be heard
If you’ve ever seen the video “this drummer is at the wrong gig,” this is the drummer from that video (Steve Moore).
“ I think I might have said doop instead of boop at one point” and then him looking at a paper with skat lyrics is the funniest thing I have ever seen
A band named after the drummer is always a great idea
3:09 This is what we like to call "this drummer's at the wrong gig"!
The family and I are watching the office series for the first time, now on Season 8. As a metalhead and fan of drumming in general, I was so, so, so happy to see Steve Moore appear in this episode. What a genius piece of writing and casting.
I love when they show Kevin not being overly stupid cause sometimes they make him look so dumb it’s almost sad😅
Kevin trying to do the tricks in the drums is so adorable
Robert California is just Jim Morrison after he faked his own death. I’ll never not believe that about this character.
No he isn't he's ultron in human form
The drummer Robert brought in is 100% the "at the wrong gig" drummer!
Thought the same ! 😄
Fun fact: that woman guitarist is Linda Taylor. She's probably best known as being the guitarist on Whose Line is it Anyway.
How does someone look like they’re drumming, and swimming?!! 😂😂
How does nobody in the comment section y’all about how cool the moves of the drummer at 3:20 were
This is like 9th graders playing basketball and nba players show up to scrimmage them
The first 30 seconds of this scene was really promising. Then Robert California showed up.
when the drummer at the end literally did gymnastics all over the drums i d i e d
Andy had some sick hambone action
When Andy starts playing his knees in his own band lmao 🤣
Andy touching himself it's the best part of this scene🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of Kevin's best moments 3:00
My god the final drum battle is EPIC lmaooooo
Kevin, Andy and Darryl’s song at the start was great tho
Seeing Kevin play the drums always cheer me up
*creed enters and proceeds to destroy all of them*
Enough said.
Doug Judys gone legal now😂
And still gigging on keyboard
2:18 disappearing guitar
Midnight rambler is that one song you'll never get tired of jamming to.
Dang, didn't realize that was The Mad Drummer til the duel. Awesome!
I love the delivery on that scat joke.
Midnight rambler is a freaking classic!
The drummers name who kills it, is Steve Moore btw.
As a drummer and a fan of the show, I very much like all of this lol
James spader my all time favorite actor killed it with that harmonica
That scatting joke is SO underrated!
I cracked up with Kevin using 100% of his brain trying to follow the guy 🤣🤣🤣
Every time I come back to this after not seeing it for quite a while I always fast forward to the drum scene and it has me 😂 every time
The ending with kevin and the other drummer made me spit my coffee out. I watched the very ending over and over till i got my fill
kevin in that last scene cracks me up every time
When I watch the Office it immediately dissolves my anxiety. I love this show!
Robert California: *joins them and then replaces them*
Andy: *awkwardly stands there failing to play his "instrument"*
What is that "instrument"??
God I really love this version of midnight rambler. I wish there was a full version
One of my favorite parts
This drummer is at the wrong paper supply warehouse.
A great scene, An easy way to show these people that they mean nothing and that they can be replaced and demoted and everything would still run fine (Probably even better)
Kevin in a drum battle is my current MOOD
1:04 always loved how they actually sounded really good right there
“You guys are better than you look”
Kevin:”screw you”
3:40 nuts
Legend has it that guy is still drumming to this day
All this time I never noticed that that's "the mad drummer" playing the sports caster. Dude is next level drum entertainment
I think its funny that even after they lost their instruments Kevin and Daryll were able to take it in stride and keep in the jam with the backups, Andy was just a total third wheel xD
Lol he still had an acoustic, like he totally could have played back up guitar
Darryl actually rocking the tambourine beat though
Steve Moore ..... the coolest drummer ever
This should be the Superbowl Halftime show
I die when Andy starts slapping his kneeees hahahahahahahahahaha
I feel like Andy could have joined with the Acoustic and we'd have a truly amazing version of Midnight Rambler
1:16 i hear shaggy and nothing else
One of the best moments of the show
The end at 3:05 reminds me of when Animal (Muppets) dueled Buddy Rich.
What exactly have I stumbled upon😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and then it turns into an absolute magic show
imagine having some fun with your co-workers and then some stars come in to steal the show.
1:05 sounds like the credits music of a 90's sitcom.
You are correct.
Roseanne
Steves hair flopping all over the place is the cutest and funniest thing 😂
😄 Kevin trying to windmill
Dope end credit scene from this episode
Kevin is so happy no matter what!
Kevin’s throwing the sticks everywhere!! Lol!!
you know what they say, you can't win a jam but Kevin totally won that drums jam.
I would've liked to hear them play a little while longer, they sounded great.
The most legendary drum off in musical history😂😂😂😂
Robert California suggesting the song written through the point of view of the Boston strangler is great.
Omg😂😂😂😂 you're so right.
I would’ve dubbed Kevin a god if he actually bested him at the end at drums
Htsw I wish they would’ve made it like that where Kevin is just a master at the drums but no i always hate watching this whole scene
@@psychedelicc7452 Well, it was Steve Moore.
I have that same Pearl Master's kit that Kevin's crippin with haha
That was not too shabby.
LOOLL OH TATS THE church drummer guy LOOOL
I loved James spader as Robert California I don’t know why a lot of people don’t agree with it I just love James spade though
His character is obnoxious. The actor is great. I like them both.
HE JUST KEEPS GOING HE WONT STOP
This whole show is one cringe after another and I love it :D
Steve Moore the Mad Drummer!
I love when the big guy highlights “and the Zits”
You should a ‘best of the music’ and make a compilation of all the music in the series
Hahaha I love Kevin 😂
Dudes chops at the end were crazy
3:32
Way to go, Kevin!
The mad drummer
