Sorry if the intro seems random and abrupt, I had to cut a long part of it as it was hurting the audience retention (understandably so) This video has some of my best knowledge and I would be very grateful if you gave it a chance
I honestly never really thought about productivity until I had realized I was taking 3-6 month "breaks" in between drawings. Productivity and discipline go hand in hand
I confess that I also felt into the youtube short blackhole after looking at a "how to paint eyes" short and lost more than 45 mins at once but how do I stop myself ctrl-z'ing every single lines ? How can I find references faster ? How can I stop myself from testing every single gradation map and texture materials I have on my drawing ? Oh and where was that brush again ? The struggle is real xD (specially during inktober) Great video btw!
If it works for you then there's no need to change it. I wish I could just draw without feeling directionless, but I'm the very logical type, so this approach works better for me and I wanted to share my perspective for people who are similar to me. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@sariyaart no problem man, the whole video was a very good insight towards things I never really considered before, keep up the great work with the great content!
This advice can go hand in hand with other skills, I am gonna become the best chess, musician, and artist in my house because of this now! (Also thx for all the advice BTW!)
Last recommandation be way too underrated in the art community. if you dont wanna go to the gym, just stay at home and do pushups, abs, situps (and pullups if you got a bar in a nearby park). Those are literally the only 4 exercises you need it's really not as complicated as you may think Nobody asks you to become dwane johnson, or to do like one hundred pushups a day or sum shit like this. It's simply that a good mental always starts by a good physical state, you can even go with five or ten pushups a day if you're just getting started, it's fine. It only takes like ten/30 minutes a day
finding this channel and actually listen to what you've said to us is really the thing I've needed this whole time. I really am struggling with my workflow as an artist and I'm so stressed of it. Thank you for making this video, dear
Man I really wish you all the best. This video was one of my better ones but didn't do too well because good advice isn't good enough on youtube. I needed to present it in an interesting way, which I failed at, but I will make similar videos in the future. I feel like I can offer advice that have helped me immensly, but I didn't get this advice from the art community, so if I could translate them to artists it would be actually amazing. For now thank you for watching the video
@@sariyaart failed or not on presenting it in an interesting way, you still managed to get us understand your point on the video and that is enough! sure, you can make some improvements here and there but I need to remind you that your videos so far are already amazing on its own. So don't be too stressed out on it, and make more helpful videos in the future!! Wish you for the best journey, dear! ^^
Mann Ive been waisting so much time recently because I couldn't find any sense in what I was working on. Also the AI questions the sense of making art nowadays. I hate it. But this video gave me some hope in working hard and need to strain for improvement. Thank you for this.
I struggle with those things all the time, though AI never had a big impact on me. I just don't think about it much, and idk if that's a blessing or a curse, but it certainly helped me stay focused on art. I'm glad my video helped. I don't have all the answers, but I can't imagine a situation where all the hard work an artist puts in goes to waste. Stay strong man
discovered the channel today, a lot of very helpful and informative videos, can relate to the issues mentioned in this and the meditation video and listening to how you overcome those challenges is very inspiring
Thank you 🙏 so much for the information i will use these methods wisely and focus and train my art in a short time and the rest of the day i will do my task and for me to achieve my goals thank you for everything 😭

I started drawing last year but now I feel like I'm slowing down and that's when I saw your video, it's really good advice, great video!

I'm sorry if you saw the last one, this is a reupload cus the intro quality was messed up in the previous one
ahh, i was confused at the two notifications lol
I'm definitely the person who just draws, it's slow, but it just works for me personally. We tend to do a lot more than just drawing anyway
