    Hey man, just a word of support - you did great! Don't apologize for stumbling over your words, it happens to everyone. You may not have noticed this, but in almost every RUclips video you watch, you'll see little "jumps" in the video where you can tell an edit took place. This is usually b/c the person speaking messed up some how. They just edit it out so that it comes across seamless and smooth. No one speaks perfectly 100% of the time. I thought your video was great and very informative. Hope you keep it up!!

    I love watching this. I followed you right away because you answered people questions in the comment sections, some ppl dont tell others the products and items they used because it has to be a big secret. Even though I wont buy the products, I still pay ppl to clean my car just a good as you. I was just interested in what ppl used. And it is really expensive.

    • @faedraelina
      @faedraelina 4 года назад +1

      it wasn’t even good extraction :(( you can’t see the good hunk coming up out of the seats

    • @faedraelina
      @faedraelina 4 года назад +6

      Steven James it may be as important but not as satisfying to viewers who specifically watch for the extraction (like me)

    • @annieisdylansmom
      @annieisdylansmom 4 года назад +6

      @It's Me yes. Not trying to minimize the hard work that goes into the prep, it's just that the extraction is more visually satisfying and the main reason some of us watch these types of videos.
      Is the same with pimple popping and cyst removal videos. Not as interested in the prep... just wanna see the gunk come out.
      My comment wasn't intended to be disrespectful to the person doing the hard work. Just helpful to those who are more interested in the extraction.

    You might want to upgrade to the plastic see-through upholstery tool. Much easier to use, doesn't have sharp edges and you can see the dirty water going through it. Nice video though. I learned some things.

    If using this, would it remove cranberry juice stains from the seats and ceiling? I’m embarrassed to say this but I accidentally left my daughters juice in the there and it was super hot that day, I was at work after 9 hours of work I came back to the stains all dried up and I’ve been wondering how to take this off. It’s really bad.

    Great Job thanks for sharing this. Quick question'; how does your customers drive home from your shop with damp seats? Even if you do a mobile job, do your customers have to wait until the seats are dry or do you cover the seats with something so that they can at least drive perhaps home from work?

    • @johngatland
      @johngatland 5 лет назад

      You can put a seat cover over the seat, when you get home remove the seat cover and crack the windows so that the moisture can escape then lock the car, also you could put a fan heater in the front footwell if it is safe to do so. ie theft.

      Reggieregify I’ve also seen another auto detailer on youtube (i don’t,,, quite remember who? i’m sorry!) mention that often seats come first in a detail, then carpets, then the rest of the car, giving the seats a bit to dry out.

    Dude it’s so annoying that everyone thinks the extractor water mechanism works. The extractor is designed to take water out. When you push that button that puts water in, you simply create a counterintuitive job by forcing water into the seats, creating a very damp environment, in turn leading to a mildew moldy smell 48 hours later. Car seats don’t inherently dry very well when being affixed to the car or in a compact area without constant air hitting it. Opening the doors and windows is still not enough to dry it. The proper way to detail/clean cloth seats is to slightly wet the surface. SLIGHTLY. After doing that apply regular detergent soap that you wash your clothes with. Nothing crazy. just normal detergent. Get that drill gun and clean it. Then use the extractor to EXTRACT the soapy solution. Then spray the seat with a spray bottle water and keep going with the spin brush until all the soap is out. Don’t listen to any morons who use the extractor like animals, soaking up seats like its soak city. Trust me, I’ve gone through almost 20 cars and all my customers who I’ve sold it to always says there is a moldy smell after. Once I used MY method, there was no smell and the cleaning was pristine

    Hi, I am DIYer, one question, are not the brushes to rough for the cloth?
