Thank you so much Graham. I am as green as grass regarding photography. I have bought this FZ300 and watching the first two videos, it seems like a very good buy. Now I can't wait to watch all your vids for an explanation because there are tons of options. Your video is very clear, it has the perfect pas so I mean not to fast or too slow, thank you!
Great video as always Graham. I am finding them very useful having just purchased the FZ330, it arrived today, so I look forward to your explanation of all the menu options and settings. Thank You
Wow! A lot of information! Thank you so much for creating these videos and explaining the features in way that I can follow along while you demonstrate them.
Although I have a FZ2500, the similarities in the menu / function application are nearly the same with the FZ330. With these videos I feel like a kid in a candy store. So much of what's in the menu settings were nebulas to me until viewing your videos. Now my camera is less a mystery & much more capable when shooting. Thanks for the effort & detail. Is there some setting for it to make the morning coffee ?
With the Panasonic G6 one can hold the camera to the eye, and then use the thump on the swivelled out screen to point AF and shoot; I think that and 'back button focus' are much faster way to focus. For video I'm interested in how to get cool, smooooth focus pulls, can it be done? Since I shoot raw in photo's, I use the picture profiles for video because in raw I can change a lot to my liking, but in video it is critical to setup and use the right picture profile.
Great help there Graham for newbie FZ1000 owners as well like me, a lot of the same menu options there I see. I can see you have a better control on fine tuning in manual focus but I'm not finding it to bad really, apart from in video that is, the phone app seems to work well there though. Thanks.
Again thanks for this informative video . I wait impatiently for the next one. I have a question myself . When shooting night portraits. with the Fz 300 (For example, my fishing buddy to put on a picture with a large fish ) The photo is not sharp and there arises noise. With my panasonic Fz 18 I never had that experience Can i handle standards to shoot that kind of photographs? With friendly greetings Dennis from Holland .
4th of your FZ3300 tutorial demos I've watched in the last hour. My head is fading fast but I'm becoming more and more convinced that this camera surpasses my SX60HS. This particular upload about focusing is really important to me for reasons I commented on for one of your other uploads. Can I ask - how do you rate image quality using the zoom? I'm not really into all this 'superzoom' nonsense and rarely use a zoom beyond half its potential because of shake (even with IS), loss of quality, difficulty in focusing and the aberrative effect of atmospheric interference. What's your feel about the Zoom on the FZ330? Maybe I'll find an upload on this theme on your channel - but just in case ..... ???
Thank you for this Graham. I am trying to follow along with you but my panorama settings, shutter type and flash are all grayed out and will not allow me to select them. Any idea why that would happen?
I always enjoy your educational videos. But, I think that the fz1000 is a better choice because of it's larger sensor. I know that it doesn't have the same reach, but the size difference between the fz330 and the fz1000 isn't much consideration, plus, the difference in price isn't huge. What's your opinion? Thanks
I don't actually do a lot of the "run and gun" type video CAF may choose the wrong subject, face detection will predominantly choose registered faces, setting a tracking target may help but there should be enough DOF at wide angle to keep most subjects in focus after you have focussed and then switched to MF.
i have a couple other lumix cameras. If I turn them off (or they go to sleep), when i turn them back on the focus has changed. Does this camera power back up where you left off? Let's say you are on a tripod and want to change batteries. Does it power up back in focus if you are in manual focus? Thanks. Nice video.

I just purchased the FZ300 and am so appreciative of your instructional videos. They are excellent!
I just became a member of the FZ300 club. I am upgrading from the FZ70. Thank you for the videos.

Another brilliant video thank you!
Can I ask why you shoot in 3:2 and not 4:3 which makes full use of the sensor...?

What is the best focus setting for walking around ?

Hi Graham, I'm very curious about how well the weatherproofing stands up to rain. Thanks!
Heather
