Hey Dutch, it could have been a raccoon, bobcat or a mangy dog! Even if these nocturnal creatures had made your home there home temporarily they still will get up and run wide awake!
In Minnesota who is our 34 because it’ll get 4050 blow sometimes in the winter time I like what you’re doing. I hope it works out. Keep up this man I love watching them. Your girls are growing so fast you guys are such good parents I wish I could you raise chickens instead of paying six dollars for a dozen eggs I live in the middle of Minnesota and we may have a half an inch to an inch of snow but for the last week we’ve had temps below zero 10 to 15 below for days.
I still like watching your videos that I like the pond build and I thought it was a good idea to try and fix this house up and make some extra cash on the side. I don’t know if you all know who demo ranch is but he seems to be doing bed-and-breakfast and no Daniel arms he’s going to try the same thing and renting out a house it can’t hurt people need homes sometimes renting is the only way keep up the good work I watched a lot of your videos for a couple years now I love your property by the creek. Your girls have grown so much since I started watching your videos my gosh you guys are great parents I like the house you built in the woods I’m really impressed my dad built a dome in the woods almost by himself when he was in his 60s and they lived there for years but keep up good work dude.
Hello from Texas. I didn’t know the bones of a house looked like that. The insulation is so ugly. Thank goodness for sheet rock and paint. Enjoy the videos ❤😊❤😊❤😊
Dutch where did you get your insulation ? We are going to put a metal roof on the main part of the house this summer and I want to be sure to insulate adequately for -mid 30's to 40's. That insulation is easy to install and looks like it would do nicely !!! Thanks for the tips you've offered here and good luck on trapping the mystery critter !!! God Bless !!!
I think the animal in the house was probably a big male cat. I wish I could get a Jackery one day. If it is one of the cats that has been caught in the trap before, it will be scared of the trap. Those heaters are really good heaters. Great video, God bless.
One day I’m surely buying a generator like that. We have a loud gas generator. At least we have that! We needed it a few times in the summer. We have 3 portable AC units for such occasions.
Shaun... Lol...take the Metal lid off those Cat food cans . So they don't get cut or hurt.. lol... Anyways, As always enjoying your postings. Hugs to everyone 🤗
In my area, when you re gabbing a home you have to have everything covered up, so that no one including animals or small children can get in, especially when no one is there. Also it is suggested to clean up what ever has fallen in the basement, so you can see, if anything needs to be removed or fixed. That way you know when you come in an out, if you see trash ? Someone knew has been while you were not there.
What kind/brand of insulation were you using? Not for me but for Jake Morrow, Lester's nephew who has just bought property and has removed all the walls and will be replacing insulation; he was talking about how he doesn't want to get the itch from insulation and your insulation wasn't the pink kind. thanks.
With all The open holes in the building, you are lucky if it was s only a cat. I wouldn’t set a trap. It is cold and it is looking for someplace warm. Close up all the openings and there will be less of a chance something gets in
I got a customer that has raccoon coming in the day time, they are looking for food or a new place for a home. there might be someone who uses to feed them and does not feeding them anymore. but from what see in your video I would say they are looking for a home to have babies so close those holes soon. I want one of those Jackery so much for my home and my camper.
In Belgium these walls would need to contain at least 6 to 8 inches of insulation to be correct. Do you place a vapor barrier between you're insulation and the drywall?
I had a older friend years ago that had all his walls filled with Cotton Seeds, he said it was best insulation available and Helped his Electrical Bill Immensely. Years later because they wanted to build a New Church Parsonage on that site, they took this older home down. I was there when they started taring it down and the inside walls were all in great shape where the Cotton Seeds were used as Insulation-no Rot or decay or Termites. This day in time the Cotton Seeds would probably cost more than the Fiberglass Insulation...
Hi Dutch and Brandy and family whatever in your abandoned house probably looking for a warm place to stay might be pregnant with babies like the jackery it's cool
You have a jungle gym for animals inside that house. Put a light and a loud hard rock radio station on. Raccoons don’t like it. Rebuilding those parts sounds like the best idea.
Love you and your videos. In my township, I would be fined for leaving open huge access points, that a child could get in and be injured. I would suggest you secure this house. Otherwise, why have doors or windows?
Hey Sean. I bought the Zachary 3000 pro but I can’t seem to see any battery packs that are compatible with it. Do you know anything about them? If so, could you please advise me.
@ yes. I’m looking to add another storage bank but when I go to their site, they only have them that are compatible with 2000 and 1000 and below. So I’m very confused as to what is compatible with the 3000 pro.
I have had some giant cats. Unbelievably big. So that could have been a cat. Animals are looking for warm places to hang out in this cold weather. I would really love a Jackery but it is not in my small budget unfortunately.
Dutch, I was going to poke fun at you for using a loon sound, because everyone knows we do not have those in Oklahoma. Then I videoed one right here in green country😊
Boy, when you look at that house and all the work, seems like you want to put quality floors, walls etc. The girls might be able to rent it out someday or even live in it. I think it could be really cute for couple although you said a senior wanted to live there. Boy, you have options but wow something else. On another note have you seen the egg machine that people pay with a credit card then a door opens up. You just fill and reset. Maybe the girls could be responsible to keep filled for spending money on trips or college coming up soon. Take care.

Good Evening Dutch & Family! Be careful…
Hi
As a builder who buys homes similar to this, You need to close up all the openings. You are inviting problems.
For sure

Hi Dutch, this is awesome 😊
Hi from Mary Iceland
Oh wow Iceland? Hi 😊

Always enjoy videos!
Here in Canada nova scotia we would have to board up the lower holes. So it's no danger for kids.
From the quick glimpse it moves like a cat, looks like a big black cat, so it might be helping keep the mice, squirrels out.
Don't forget to put the plastic over your insulation...the vapor barrier!!! Looking good.
Yes

Oh no! You got crazy critters in there! Whatever it is could be looking for a new home, I don't want it to be your house! Be careful!
It’s been a little crazy around here lately!
It sounded like the launch of a spaceship? Can I call you Elon?😂😂😂
I'm thinking a cat, I never saw a racoon move that fast
Where is Randy!! Could you put a camera up to see what it is,have a bless day 🌺 👏👍🇺🇲🇺🇲
I need to
dutch put one of your motion camera's in the house pointed at that hole there.
Check for poop. 😂 Don’t forget pee spots! That is harder to get rid of smell wise.

How fun! 😂
It was a black cat 🐈⬛️ I captured the shot & zoomed in. Or it was a miniature panther! Lol!
Lol
Hi 👋 ❤🎉 I like your new videos ❤ and how are your farm animals doing ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Wow, that's great it powers the salamander!
It works good
Good luck
Dutch is hilarious, 😂😂😂😂!!
Definitely a job for a couple of spare trail cams to see what's big and furry that is visiting there.
Hi Dutch and Brandy and family whatever in your abandoned house probably looking for a warm place to stay might be pregnant with babies like the jackery it's cool
Yes
Did you ever get that old flooring up?
I guarantee it's just a big fluffy cat.
Where is your camera on the long cord that’s for seeing what’s in caves?
Wow, what a shack.
Lol
Are you gonna put clear plastic over the installation
Great video most entertaining thanks maybe it was Chad Doss if it was very hairy. Chris from England
Keeping it Dutch ♥♥♥♥♥👑👑👑👑👑 Kritters ♥♥♥♥♥, treats and tummy rubs. Tonka sends a friendly tail wag and a sniff to his fellow furry friends.
Tearing it down will take less time, less money and you will be more satisfied.😊
😊
From what could see ,it looked like a large cat. It didn't run like a raccoon. But we'll see when you edit your next video. God bless, stay safe. 👍🙏❤️
Yes

Looks like the area underneath needs to be cleaned, repiped & built up for storage or other.
😮😢😮
If you are scared you can bring Carl with you to protect you next time!
Could be groundhog/ woodhuck or badger.
Yes
Lock it up big fella😂😂😂
I've seen Raccoons in my backyard many times durring the day.
I know they're around when I hear the crows having a fit.
Hey Dutch, something likes your new place as much as you do🤭.
I hope you get em!
JO JO IN VT 💞☃️
How about using a gas generator used only for recharging the portables.
It’s hiding and watching you😂
Kitty kitty 😂😂
Lol
Exciting Times❤😂🎉❤😂🎉
Looked like a big cat ! 😆
Love you and your videos. In my township, I would be fined for leaving open huge access points, that a child could get in and be injured. I would suggest you secure this house. Otherwise, why have doors or windows?
Maybe set a live trap next to the hole
Hey Sean. I bought the Zachary 3000 pro but I can’t seem to see any battery packs that are compatible with it. Do you know anything about them? If so, could you please advise me.
A jackery 3000 pro?

try your game camera so you can see what comes in the house.

Hello Dutch and family
This is Dutch** not Kevin.😅😅😅
@ thanks I fixed it 😝
Hey big fella what size would you say for a Jackery for a backup for a 6 foot deep freezer???
The bigger the better so my advice is get the bigger one you can get for your budget if that makes sense.
That is a large Cat.
I am wondering where is Randy the carpenter!
Boy, when you look at that house and all the work, seems like you want to put quality floors, walls etc. The girls might be able to rent it out someday or even live in it. It’s gonna be nice once it’s done!
So why didn't you have the solar panels attached to keep it charged????
I thought it was a person ❤😅😂❤
Need to wear a mask when messing with insulation. You don't want those fibers in your lungs.
Looks like your going to have to do a full bacement fix the foundation looks really bad
Dang bro. At the rate you’re working on the house, You should be done in about 3 years. 😂
Ikr... I know the winter was rough but it's all inside work... Well maybe they've been sick or something and I shouldn't judge...
@ yea. Same here. 🤦♂️
Hey, Dutch. I think it was a big raccoon. That's what it looked like to me, but you'll find out when you edit it❤❤
Looked like a cat to me. We'll see when you update at the end of the video.
Was it four legged or two? If it was two legged put bars on the windows🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw it!
The Raccoon could be using the house as a hide away during the day.
❤❤❤❤❤
😊
