I had a friend explain the Kazuya trailer to me, so this is second-hand knowledge, but apparently Kazuya's backstory, his father threw him off a cliff and said that "if he was strong enough, he'd be able to climb back up." Kazuya's story in Tekken ends with him returning the favor and throwing him off a cliff. This comes back in Tekken 2 when Kazuya's father returns and once again throws him off a cliff, and this has been going back and forth ever since.

Shin Megami Tensei is known as the series where the world is already ruined, you kill God and kill all your friends in the process. Also it's brutal. And all the demons are nuts. And buffs are life-saving.
My friends and I flipped with the reveal, not because we were particularly excited, but because we finished the last game LITERALLY the night before, so the sheer coincidence of it all was really funny to us.
Most of my friends were disappointed, but I thought that this e3 was pretty hype. Not a lot of the huge overarching games we’ve wanted (odyssey 2, Bayo 3, prime 4) but there were plenty to show and be excited for
Metroid dread, news about botw 2, even Mario Golf looks good, Wario ware, monkey ball and SMT 5 which looks beyond awesome Imo. Honestly this direct was among the best ones. If they would have shown Bayonetta 3 among everything else i would call it the best one yet.

Like there are other games aside from the Prime games. And some of them know Fusion exists, which is the actual Metroid 4. Apparently Metroid Dread was rumored wayyyyyy back in 2005 as a DSI game and sequel to Fusion. It was cancelled, then development restarted around 2008, it was teased in Prime 3, then it just disappeared. It’s cool to see it resurface after so long.
