how about Data sent via outlook? Is that monitored via endpoint dlp?

It's monitored under Exchange / Outlook DLP, but it's all in the same policy creation wizard. At 2:01 you can see "Exchange email" is an option to select. I have an Outlook DLP video coming soon!
