Hi Vince, just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you! We had a remote control that had stopped working and our first thought was to replace and reluctantly landfill it. But - I took inspiration (as I always do now from your vids) and disassembled it. Found corrosion on a terminal and loads of carbon powder on the board button contacts ( those ziggy zag things) so IPA'd it off and now it works perfectly again! Thanks, buddy :) Am depressingly short on cash as I would love to contribute but I do recommend your channel to everyone so hopefully that's a help

Easy fix this one - just a bad switch. the copyright strike was a bit rich. You weren't to know the gorilla would play the song unit you turned it on. The copyright strike system needs to be updated to reject claims from a complainant if their works is already licensed (i.e. contained in a product where royalties have already been paid) that is included as part of a larger piece of content (e.g. your fix video's). I can understand me getting a strike for putting Wagners "Ride of the Valkaries" to my helicopter flight but not an accidental playback of Macarana fro a toy gorilla.
He earns money from this video, thus he earns money FROM the creator of the song no matter if he is still alive or not, it's sadly how it works. Money money money

Hi Vince, you had any experience with a PS4 Pro Power supply? Mine has started making a crackling buzzing noise, but it plays otherwise normally. The unit twice in the last week has just conked out mid-game, then had to remove the cable and re-plug it in it, the blue light then lights up, then machine tries to load, then after 1 second then instantly conks out again. Then no other power at all (have to remove cable for 30 seconds) After this, and after i gave it a fan blow with canned air, (thought it was the issue) it seems to work again, but a new noise, the PSU crackling noise is started recently. (The PS4 still works normally though i just wondered if it something that is cropped up before that you know of, The PS4 model is CUH-7126B
To be honest with you, that yellow mat makes black things very dark and it’s almost impossible to see what you’re working on with that bright yellow mat

the chip inside is likely a blob chip (bare dice wirebonded without package and with a blow of epoxy over it, to hide its secrets its dirt cheap) or atleast a otp part otp means one time programmable the meory works by blowing fuses in the die to make up the 1s or 0s of the data
Oh I hate these toys. They just play 30 seconds of a song when triggered and the sound quality of the chip is absolutely terrible. As a reference, CDs play at a frequency of 44100 hz. In contrast, this toy playes at 4000 hz.
