It's true! I watched the show with someone else and they couldn't see the Nandor/Guillermo story threads. They thought it was a stretch and I was imagining it. I showed them this video and it finally convinced them. It also made them introspective about whether they would have seen it if it were a man and a woman. This edit really does an excellent job placing the relevant scenes together, showing parallels in their actions, and showing how they affect each other and how they care for each other. It makes it really obvious. It's a masterpiece essay in video editing art form. Strong support of the thesis statement.
I'm honestly so in awe of how you made such a somber and serious and amazing story from the very humorous show. Like this is obviously an amazing video but the tone difference from the show and the way you sustained it throughout is incredible!
I remember that scene when Guillermo did not show up for Nandor to go on the trip and I felt so sad too. It's like I really felt that void. It was so sad to see Nandor hurt like that. I knew there was going to more to the story. That was a good scene. Very moving.
