Afton (or just William) decided to hide in Springbonnie but in result, he got springlocked. It happened because he was sweating too much and if you've played Sister Lication you'll know that liquid activates springlocks. Btw it wasnt actually Afton who killed the kids. It was Glitchtrap. Glitchtrap lived inside of William's head at the time and was a parasite that could take control of his body. He killed the children in William's body so it would seem like William was the killer, but it was actually him. Some people think that Glitchtrap is Vincent, William's apparent twin brother, in a suit. Oh and btw this all took place after his 2 kids, Elizabeth (Circus Baby) and Chris (Shadow Freddy) died. Chris died from the bite of 87 (he was the crying child) Elizabeth died from going near Circus Baby. His wife had also died (Ballora, idk her name tho cause it's not confirmed her name is Clara) leaving him and his son, Michael, left. William then got springlocked and Michael got a job as a nightguard as Circus Baby Pizzeria and Rentlas. He is Eggs Benedict and get scooped on the 5th night by Ennard, but that's all irrelevant. Btw those weren't Christmas lights on Ennard. It was eyes of the other animatronic as revenge of being took apart by William Afton and his good friend Henry Emily (they were friends until William killed Charlie, Henry's daughter and Henry doesn't die in FNAF 6 FIRE HE KILLS HIMSELF WITH AN ANIMATRONIC IT SAYS IN THE BOOKS). That's basically all you need to know. I'm out. 😜✌ Ps. Springtrap was stuck in the safe room for 30 years and after the Sister Location fire he turned into Scraptrap, or as you like to call him, Afton.
