- This is my first time trying perfumes from the bran Imaginary Authors and I have some very strong opinions about this brand. I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't what I got. I would be interested to know who their intended audience is. It is certainly unlike anything I have ever smelled before.

I just received the waffle cone. I just smell the cinnamon & caramel. You would definitely have to layer this with something gourmand. Glad I only got a sample!

I love Imaginary Authors, but it's a niche house for sure... almost all of their scents are very odd and lean masculine IMO -- which is good for me! But they do have a few you might like ... Fox in the Flowerbed, Falling Into the Sea, In Love With Everything, Saint Julep are all big crowd pleasers

Hahahaha, love your review! I had some samples I hated & then a month or 2 later a few became my favorites. They just needed to rest after shipping. I still can't bring myself to wait haha, but now I always go back to the ones I hated a month later just to make sure

😂Girl you cracking me up. I bought the discovery set and yes I threw away “memories of a trespasser” or whatever it’s called.
I mean I was genuinely, appalled. How they could create something like that and call it perfume is beyond me. The bigger question is, who is smelling that and being like yes this smells great give me a full bottle 😂 that's what I want to know!

This is why I’m not the biggest fan of a lot niche fragrances . They try to be all conceptual and interesting but the fragrance ends up smelling completely unwearable 😅 I’ll stick with my designers for the most part 😅
I was wondering how you like whiff of a waffle cone after having it for a while. I have a decent and have tried it twice and while the opening I’m not crazy about for me it settles down into something I keep needing to sniff lol! To me it smells like waffles and syrup and or caramel. For some reason I get a Smokey vibe in the opening . My nose is probably off😂😂
😂😂 Apparently there are two versions. The one I have is the old version which doesn't really have any syrup or caramel smell at all. The newest version is the one thats supposed to have more of that but the version that I have, I hate! 😂
Funny how everyones nose is different. All i can smell is the waffle cone in mine. I agree about the burnt rubber one. Yuck!
Agreed, everyone's nose is different. But the most important thing is that other perfume smells like burnt rubber and its terrible! 😂😂😂😂
