I've eaten paella in many places. None have looked like the one you ate. NEVER eat in the Tourist areas, anywhere. Go where the locals are eating, which is NEVER on the Tourist/ Seafront area, anywhere. You surely know that..Supposed to be a Tourist Vlog, I'm guessing. (Only seen these Vlogs of yours, in Benidorm.)

Martin and Sharon, just viewed this on a 55" 4k Sony TV and I am astounded by the quality of the picture- a triumph I'd say. Great adventure, see upon your return to blighty. Even references to Holly Johnson's debut song didn't deflate me. Have a very safe journey home. At this time of life I was hoping to travel a bit, however due to health issues, I cannot take flights now so it has been a great week of armchair entertainment.Thank you so much for showing a holiday from a real point of view.

I only saw Benidorm on RUclips. But alot of the life shown was in bars drinking and drunks. These videos gave me a new perspective, I really like the areas you two have been, the different foods you tried, was fun trip you took us on. I am sorry we are leaving!!

I have really enjoyed all your videos, enjoyed joining you in Benidorm. I am English but have lived in New Zealand for 40 years but after watching your meals of fish and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce I am really yearning them. I have actually found a fish and chip shop who does english fish and chips with peas and curry sauce here in Auckland. I still cant get used to tomato sauce on fish and chips. Keep the videos coming.

I lived in Benidorm and went to Ray's 2 regularly with my aunt Paula who also lived there since the early 1970s having first visited in 1958 when there was only one hotel in the old town and anything outside of the old town was lemon and orange groves.
We lived in the Bungalows Horizonte which were late 1960s award winning bungalows when they were the only buildings at the end of the Playa Levante on the Ricon de Loix a short walk from Ray's. The premises you ate in are a newer one than when I was there. If I remember correctly Steve and June were from Leeds and my aunt Paula, who was a teacher at the Sierra Bernia international school at L'Alfaz del Pi just outside Benidorm, knew them. Just across the Avenedia was an all you can eat Indonesian restaurant.
Used to go for tea at the chicken cafe next to the Los Pelicanos and they'd have the bullfighting from Valencia on the TV which would end with the death of either the bull or the bullfighter. After all sometimes the bull wins.
We've really enjoyed your Benidorm holiday videos. Like you we're under the impression that Benidorm was very noisy. You have shown that everyone can have a good holiday if you know where to stay and go. Thanks both loved going on you're trip with you both XX 🥰

Brilliant set of videos this week Martin and Sharon, never watched Benidorm first time round, so have now started watching All ten series. 😂
That paella contained squid ink (black) that gives a fish taste and obviously a black colour to the rice. It's a very traditional, classic addition to seafood paella so it wasn't overcooked or burnt. It was a good choice for a traditional Spanish dish.

Great selection of videos in this Benidorm series. Thanks for all the hard work you have both put in during your week long holiday. Careful with the sweetner diet drinks, not kind to the kidneys. Better. Water or non alcohol drinks to help the body use the nutrients in all that lovely food. Thanks once again and hope journey home was good 😊
Artificial Sweeteners...cause problems in the Gut...can cause yeast and more liable to Diabetes...on about Banning them... Thing is it's in everything..even juice drinks... Supermarkets...should be forced to remove from All Food...it upsets the body and gears it to weight gain..

Very nice, Martin & Sharon - made me quite homesick! Can't remember the last time I had haddock, did look delish! Actually really impressed with Benidorm & of course for families there's a load of other ways to part you from your hard-earned! Do like the Spanish streets, always so conducive to a long walk, even if you do have to dodge the scooters! Safe travels & thanks for the trip!

I love Benidorm and I've loved watching you two having a great (informative) time there. Thanks for showing us around a lovely town. I was glad to hear you say at the end that you'd be back. Hope so. Never went to Benidorm until 2019 agter watching the TV series. Persuaded my husband to go and he loves it too! Going back for our third time in September. Benidorm gets under your skin and I've definitely got the Benidorm bug! ( That's a thing, btw). You are right, Sharon, it seems you have to come to Benidorm to get good fish and chips! We went for a fish supper last night. It cost £13.90 each and the size of the fish was nowhere near as big as Sharon's! Hope you had a good journey back. Love your channel!
