Yes! I actually thought the slush bit was way better without the ice cream. It was tropical and delicious. I wish they'd have it normally as an option even if they do it without the black dye! Like make it hot pink or something.

Erin! I found myself questioning the eclipse ice cream float from sonic when I saw it for the first time as well! Oddly enough, the more I had of it the more I enjoyed it lol

Love you Erin!! Perhaps try various new random food combinations of your cravings that you find in your markets? Additional ideas to consider:
1) BBQ chips dipped in slow churned vanilla ice cream
2) Baked sweet potato baked with reeses peanut butter cups and jumbo marshmallows
3) Chicken breast coated in Snyders honey mustard and onion pretzel pieces( crushed pieces)
4) Stacys cinnamon sugar pita chips dipped in Chobani strawberry or blueberry greek yogurts
5) Tostitos scoops filled with scrambled eggs and salsa
6) Chick fil a grilled nuggets/strips etc with Thai Peanut Satay sauce (any brand) with sticky rice
The burger reminded me of a pizza burger! It was giving garlic breadsticks and cheeseburgers. Loved it!

I have tried the foot long cookie foot long pretzel and the foot long churro from Subway sometime last year. I really liked all 3 of them. All 3 of them got a 10/10 from me
I have so many comments because I've actually tried a lot of these this time! lol
First, you look stunning--as always!
Second, the garlic butter bacon burger--idk if it's been being tested in the south before going nationwide or what, but we've had it a few times here now. Lol it's really good, but sometimes the garlic butter tastes chemically, and idk why. If i could get it half a burger at a time, I feel like I would get it more. a whole one is too much!
Third, the "big scoop" oreo cheesecake blast/sunday. So you could always get a cheesecake blast. i guess i've only gotten the sunday big scoop, which was an okay value for your money,. But it felt like they were using less cheesecake overall for their "big scoop" than what they would originally put into the blast, so it seems like they might actually just be skimping on a product and finding a new way to sell it with less goods. you know? Lol
Four, I loved the strawberries and cream pie so much (they seem to bring it out in the spring or summer, then pumpkin in fall, and that birthday cake one in the winter) i've started making full pies that are strawberries and cream, instead of just strawberry pies. 😂
Great timing and sooooo on board with the limited selection here ! Also interested what you might like here . I don’t eat much fast food but Arby’s jalapeno poppers and bronco berry sauce is always a great choice!

We’ve gotten the footlong cookie and split it between all my kids (5 of them). Not my favorite but they love it!

I MISS COACHELLA FOOD! True story: I wasn't planning on going to Coachella this year (its so expensive and such a pain to orchestrate with traffic, lodging, etc) but if a brand wanted to send me I said I'd consider the invite JUST so I could go and try the new food options. Literally, the opposite goal of everyone there lol

Wow you tried a lot of new items they looked pretty good I did try the footlong chocolate chip cookie it took 5 days to eat almost all of it then trash it went way to sweet and it serves 6 people lol the pretzel looked yummy
I would highly recommend the pretzel for your next trip there! But you gotta eat it fresh!
I love the sweet heat sauce it’s my favorite! Also McDonald’s strawberry cream pie is not new to me 😅 I use to eat it all the time when I was in high school 😋

The strawberry and crème pie is pretty good. I look forward to it every year. I tried the churro from sub way it was awful, it needs a sauce to be decent.

You convinced me. My decision was based on what I could order through DoorDash, so Sonic won. The garlic butter bacon cheeseburger was good, but too greasy to eat often. I did laugh when I saw that Sonic also attached a breath mint to my receipt. 😂 The Blackout Slush Float was a fabulous treat! Great suggestions, Erin!!

It's very interesting how fast food decides things. I live in a smaller city but we've had the Strawberry & Creme pie from McDonald's for years now.
McDonald's have had it for about a decade, she just thought it was new.

The Subway churros. Had one (not hot by the way, and that was fatal flaw number one) and it was okay. At best. Strange at worst. I wonder how good it would be with coffee though... I don't think there's anything new out there right now, you pretty much nailed it. LOL

Pop-Tarts fresh from the toaster are boiling hot, but once you let them cool down for a moment, the icing and jam won't burn a hole in your mouth. :)
However...definitely worth the wait for the texture.

I almost never go to Sonic, but found myself nearby in a moment of weakness tried that garlic butter burger. I dont say something like this lightly, but that...was the most disgusting thing i ever ate! Lol I felt like i needed a bath after.

The strawberry and cream pie from Micky D's isn't new. It's their summer pie for about a decade now and the cream isn't cream cheese. It's more of a custard so that's why you didn't like it as much as you probably would have had you expected the right flavor. Strawberry and cream cheese pie would be nice too though!

Son of a mother hubbard! The Sonic's around me keep closing down. Also, I missed the Eclipse because the fam said "We're not gonna get anything". Never again will I assume something like this and go with popular opinion! Thankfully, lots of news channels recorded it, so I'll get to see it, just not live. Thankfully, we were able to catch the last one, but I'm disappointed I didn't catch one that's RARE.
I want that long cookie so bad, you don't even know. I think I saw a short about it and was just totally on board. Thankfully, there's plenty of Subway's around here. (Very bad area for fast food. We don't have Jack-in-The Box and lots of others, but that's my S-tier. Vegetarian, they have a lot of options for me and the best milkshakes! We almost always get it on road trips. Funny part is I was less than a half a mile from one when I lived in California. Literally up the street from my house.) Thanks for the video!! The old-school McDonalds fried pies were vastly superior to any fast food dessert that is available today. It is sad we live in a world where they don't exist anymore. The Popeye's fried apple pie is kinda close, but still in a different league.
