I am glad that someone is reviewing this tablet in terms of experience than just specs, something that I is very helpful in making choices. Thanks for your help!
Yeah, if they used SD 865+ on their new FE series then it would've cannibalized their tablet sells. I just wish they use it again like how some companies still use the SD 870 on their tablets like the Xiaomi Pad 6.
Hi, Faisal! First of all, LOVED your channel and the style of in-depth reviews.❤️ My dilemma is, is it still worth buying S7+ at a very good price or should I pay more for the S9+ tab? I'm a student and my primary usage will be notes-making and content consumption. And I'm on a tight budget. But I don't want to end up with a dead brick once Samsung “pulls the plug”. 😄
Ty!! It won't become a dead brick😅 it'll still work, and apps will still get updates too including note taking apps but things like software/bug updates like new versions of androids will stop coming out - which overall will not really impact note taking or content consumption from RUclips/Netflix/ etc.
I got one yesterday and I must say it's got to be one of the most fluid devices I've ever used. Multitasking is easy, the OLED screen is absolutely stunning and it's got enough performance to keep up with the productivity tasks I used to dedicate to my desktop computer. Furthermore the battery is outstanding I managed to use only 40% on watching 4.5 hours of bbc iPlayer. One really convenient thing I haven't checked if the iPad has is the ability to start a note just by pressing the s pen button while the screen is locked which is one less barrier to being able to use this tablet just like a notebook or a piece of paper. @@Wissalune
This powerhouse tablet's got a display so smooth it's like a portal to a new dimension. The S Pen feels like a magic wand in my hand, letting me write, draw, and take notes with unmatched precision. Plus, the battery life is a beast, lasting from sunrise to way past sunset. The only downside? With a screen this gorgeous, I might just get hypnotized. But hey, that's a risk I'm willing to take. But to protect that I had to invest in a gadgetshieldz screen and body protection film and it's serving. I would wife up this one if I could

I’ve got an iPad Pro m2 11 inch for note taking. I know it’s good, but there are reviews that say that the spen is better than the Apple Pencil for note taking. Should I sell this iPad and buy the s9 plus? Is it more comfortable?
I need tab for big screen view, I'm confused between s9 and s9+, my usage will be multi apps, media, series/movie only, my hands are not too big to hold 12 inch, i have already s23 ultra, using two hands for this.
The tab swiping is just a foolism given by samsung to use. Because even if we swipe them up, open the app info, they will still be running in the background. And even more than 17 apps will be found running silently. Samsung is totally aware of this, they have a purpose. Purpose to steal and sell. Because here is an example - Check s23, Flip, Fold which cost higher premium price. Try doing the same in it, you will see the apps get completely force stopped in them. Samsung knows. They have to display less greed when they take premium prices.
Would you happen to know if Presenter's View on Microsoft Powerpoint works on the s9 when you connect it to an external display? That is if the tab s9 shows the speaker notes while the monitor shows the slides. Thanks for the review!
Oh I don't have PowerPoint on the s9 but I know it works for the iPad and since it is an app thing I would check first on your phone, if speakers notes show up there they will very likely show up on the tablet app. External displays can be extended via DEX
I have the tab s9+ but ive been running into the issue that netflix and hbo max have been really blurry. Do you guys know how to fix this because the quality looks fine on youtube and disney+ but not on netflix or max?
Unless there is a hardware issue there's no way it is the model itself.. Have you checked your internet connection, and I'm not just referring to download speed? Do you have multiple browser tabs open while trying to watch a movie?
ı have an S9+ too. ı download emulators on it. Like nintendo switch emulator or windows emulator. and ı play zelda botw on it with 30fps. also ı work on microsoft word 2010 desktop version on it. the chip is powerful.
@splootan go with the ultra, overall better experience if you're not locked in the apple ecosystem. I've used both, and I am in both ecosystems. Ultra is better experience overall.

You can resize the window both in tablet and dex mode and really outside of a few apps, I feel most work fine without any tweaking. I feel the optimization issue is more overblown than anything
Very little in real world usage - on paper it's a better battery (more efficient processor) but honestly I don't notice any major difference. That being said for my workflow even the S8+ easily lasted me all day.
For me, every hour on S9+ uses around 10% - 12% battery (light usage like watching videos or reading books, brightness around 25%). Standby battery cosnumption is also relatively high, around 5 - 8% per day. Hopefully this improves with some software update by Samsung.

Thanks! Just purchased, this was a big help. Glad I waited for the 9+, I was going to buy the 8 but the performance here looks amazing. Thanks again for your effort.
Honestly one of the most under rated things I do with my s9, is used super screen and hook it up to my Rog Ally. I got the keyboard cover/case and all of the io work just by plugging in my usb c to my ally. now I have an android tablet and a full blown pc on the go with a large screen.
Another important thing to note about the tab lineup is that the S9 plus is the only option for a 5G powered android tablet. I wish that the regular s9 tablet was available in a 5G option but it isn't so I had to roll with the plus this year. For someone who uses their tablet for everything like me and takes it everywhere, 5G is a must. In addition to it being 5G enabled one thing that sets the cellular experience apart from say an iPad with cellular, is that my tablet clones my number using AT&T number sync so I have phone calls and SMS covered as well. These days it's mostly just my S9 plus and my LTE Galaxy Watch 6 classic. Phone stays at home or in a bag for those days when I can't have my tablet on me (which is rare).
@@srobeck77 Because it depends on the cellular plan, normally if you don't have a top cellular plan the hotspot limits its bandwidth at some point, so in that case if you consume a lot of internet related apps on the go, it's better to rather use built-in 5G connection instead of Hotspot
@srobeck77 it's highly inconvenient to do that (for me). I used to do that in the past, but it has its drawbacks. (1) it can be an extra step if auto-connect doesn't work, (2) it drains your phone's battery, so if I'm working somewhere that doesn't have wifi (rare) but used to happen in the past, then that means I'm going to be hot-spotting for 6 hours straight. (3) there are speed and data caps for hotspot plans on AT&T. With a 5 G-enabled tablet, I have unlimited 5G data that is on all the time. Also, like I said in my comment, my Tab S9+ is connected to my phone number, meaning I don't need to have my phone on me to make and take phone calls and send/receive text messages. It acts as a standalone phone, tablet, and laptop for me. I have been using LTE-enabled tablets for years now and don't see myself ever going back to wifi only devices. The $10 I pay monthly for data on my tablet is well worth the price.
3:08 I'm not sure what you're talking about but the micro SD card has been on all Samsung tablets since the very beginning. I think you're just like to the party because you're such an iPhone user.
Having both of them, would you say the S7+ is a good upgrade from the S4? I have an S4 and been holding off upgrading because it was underutilised. I came from a Note Pro 12.2 and missed the big canvas for art (probably why I stopped drawing as much). Now I'm really considering getting an S9+ or maybe the 8/7+ if I find a good deal.
I kind of regret getting the Tab S9+ and should have went with the Ultra. I thought I would be using it more portable and drawing outside, so the weight was a huge factor. My real use now is more at the desk where weight doesn't really matter. The extra drawing space from the Tab S9 Ultra would have been nice.
Personally I think the Tab S9 series is the better tablet between it's competition such as the iPad. The OS alone allows you to do more and the ability to play emulators is huge along with Dex. Sure the apps aren't ipad optimized, but it does what majority of people are going to use it for. I really enjoy mine.
I'm a lawyer i need a tab only for my work which includes drafting, Mailing, document reading, accessing pdf & word files, research purpose and taking notes etc. Which one should i go for ipad pro 2022 or s9 plus. Ive got both Android and iPhone but mostly use Google ecosystem. Also a new version of ipad is coming next year spring. Thanks and good reviews. ✌️
Ty!! The best I can say here is that I made a review of the IPAD pro after using the S8+, and make many comparisons between the note taking, browsing and productivity apps there as well as accessories available.
Tab s9 plus would be better because of the Samsung Dex feature. You wouldn't need all the power that the iPad has, unless you're doing intensive stuff like pro video editing with Final Cut Pro
You need to slow your speaking down for those of us who are new to the Samsung Galaxy S9 tablets. I want to get one but I need to know more about them. Also I'm an older person who is not familiar with all the tech speak
Anyone experiencing touch sensitivity issues with the S9+? Mine is way too sensitive, it detects my finger a 0.5mm above the screen wich is really annoying while scrolling and I've seen some people in reddit with the exact same problem
Are you also facing any screen issues in low brightness such as seeing a line in low brightness at the top of the image or video while watching content?
@Veeshalsingh01 not that but when the screen is off and I touch to turn on, a vertical white line appears for half a second, almost in the middle of the screen. Hard to see but more visible with very low brightness... it looks like Samsung fkcup the software or just the screens for a lot of units :(
i would love to see this tablet after 3 years and plus. I have it now and i have 2021 ipad pro 11' which still works flawlessly and super fast till today. Then i will decide which party im joining after odd years ahead 😂😂😂
Actually, tablets are for mobility and casual use to offload some mild computing tasks from laptops and desktops while holding it. E.g. web browsing, video/audio entertainment, handwritten notes, sketching and minor photo editing. Hence, how you're comfortable holding one is the main factor to consider. How can we do these tasks on a premium tablet if we have difficulty holding it like the S9+ for some?
It's heavier but I am thinking that if you expect to be holding it in your hands more you might just be using it for entertaininment? For productivity use (keyboard+) I think the s9+ is a much better option.
hi I've the same keyboard cover but the shortcuts on 1,2,3 buttons are different rather than what shows on the keys !!! Any fix...Especially the 2 button is needed to type email ids.. please help
🙌🙌 ty! the spen has a magnet that only attaches to the back of the tablet (if u want it to charge) but since it doesn't attach in the exact same place each time, it throws off the top tab of the case so it doesn’t align with the camera humps as shown. Not major but smt i notice😅😅

The regular s9 does come in a 5g variant.
@@mchintt in the United States you cannot purchase a 5G enabled S9 or S9 ultra, only the plus model.
Why dont you just use the hotspot from your phone instead of paying for a separate line on a tablet?
True. I have an S2 and S6 and both have micro SD cards slots too. Upgrading to S9 Plus soon.
What case is that in the thumbnail? Looks different than the one shown in the review
Yeah had the same thoughts. Click bait seems like it.
Your question gas probably been answered by now. It's a Dexnor, pricey but excellent
Ordered one of these in hopes of replacing both my laptop & ipad 😅🤞🏻
🙌🙌 definitely ultrabook territory
I have a question. I have a s8+, but want a smaller tablet. Soim looking at the s9. Ik its not a huge upgrade, but is it worth it?
I have 217 tabs open what am I ?
A mathematician.
The Galaxy Tab S4 has the Snapdragon 835, the Tab S7+ has the Snapdragon 865+. Lol, I have both of them! Good video!
Can you do a video explaining which Samsung tablet is best for students since the s7 fe is quite old now
This is not a review, this is you rambling 😂
You cover everything very successfully great review and I have the tab S7. Snapdragon rules multitasking
How do you like his performance now? Did he disagree?
Personally I think the Tab S9 series is the better tablet between it's competition such as the iPad. The OS alone allows you to do more and the ability to play emulators is huge along with Dex. Sure the apps aren't ipad optimized, but it does what majority of people are going to use it for. I really enjoy mine.
I was able to get this because of a student grant, and man its amazing for college! It definitely helps a lot
I'm a lawyer i need a tab only for my work which includes drafting,
Mailing, document reading, accessing pdf & word files, research purpose and taking notes etc.
Multitasking s9 >>
@@ChilledFossilofficialgood call driving people to view more videos instead of just answering the question lol
Its nice to have a mouse option and the Dex on a PC monitor. Plus all the ipads are all the inferior LCD screens.
You need to slow your speaking down for those of us who are new to the Samsung Galaxy S9 tablets. I want to get one but I need to know more about them. Also I'm an older person who is not familiar with all the tech speak
Turn Playback Speed to .75
@@fattony9227Or take a Qualude
@Chilled Fossil if i have to choose as a student between macbook m1 or tab s9+, which one should i take? A little confused 😅
Go for s9+
Price plz
$699 now on Amazon
The Tab S7 FE has a very nice Snapdragon 700 series SOC.
Bro what?? What's nice about it lol
The price!
the wifi version has the more powerful 778G which is virtually on par with the S7+, which the 5G version has a slower one
Anyone experiencing touch sensitivity issues with the S9+? Mine is way too sensitive, it detects my finger a 0.5mm above the screen wich is really annoying while scrolling and I've seen some people in reddit with the exact same problem
I also have a similar problem, especially some apps registering touch when I'm just scrolling.
Might be faster if you check older version like the s8
Actually, tablets are for mobility and casual use to offload some mild computing tasks from laptops and desktops while holding it. E.g. web browsing, video/audio entertainment, handwritten notes, sketching and minor photo editing. Hence, how you're comfortable holding one is the main factor to consider. How can we do these tasks on a premium tablet if we have difficulty holding it like the S9+ for some?
Should I buy s9 instead of s9+? The s9+ seems too heavy to hold in one hand
It's heavier but I am thinking that if you expect to be holding it in your hands more you might just be using it for entertaininment? For productivity use (keyboard+) I think the s9+ is a much better option.
I would go for the S9 Plus over the S9. Just use a stand for prolonged use.
Love the personality!!!
Hi, I wonder whether the tablet can be my next laptop. Anyone has tried used the biggest tablet as a laptop?
hi
I've the same keyboard cover but the shortcuts on 1,2,3 buttons are different rather than what shows on the keys !!! Any fix...Especially the 2 button is needed to type email ids.. please help
I think you can re attached the cover on the s pen. Great review nonetheless!
🙌🙌 ty! the spen has a magnet that only attaches to the back of the tablet (if u want it to charge) but since it doesn't attach in the exact same place each time, it throws off the top tab of the case so it doesn’t align with the camera humps as shown. Not major but smt i notice😅😅
Thank you i already order my tab s9.
You're gonna love it!
I don't think so plus is even getting android 14 so that's why I went with s9 plus but the S7 plus is great tab
