One thing I cannot believe they didnt do, is that Poison Puppeteer doesnt let you use Toxic on Steel and Poison types, as well as making Malignant Chain bypass the immunity. That would have made Pecharunt so much better in my opinion but I still really love this Pokemon, its finally a mythical that wasnt just given to us with a note that says: "watch my movie nerd"
me: thinking pecharunt would look like an extra cool tapu koko lookin thing with big ol chains pecharunt: he smol but he could still wreck you oh my god
honestly, I see a few comments here saying it should have an additional corrosion ability, would be really good on it imo letting it poison n all pokemon would be very nice
It would be too overpowered. The ability to apply two statuses at once with the use of a single decently powerful stab move, on a pokemon with the defense of a brick wall and stab Hex, is already more than enough
@@crimsonshadowrider6188 But corrosion is corrosion. It's not poison puppeteer so it can't do two statuses at once. And corrosion only permits status moves, not offensive moves like Pecharunt's signature move.
did not realize it had THAT much Phys Defense. and then the ability to combine what are essentially the two most debilitating status in poison and confusion, no wonder it's the villain.
Tip for people that fights pecharunt mains in blueberry prologue fights:gastro acid prevent abilities.posion puppeteer can get nutrealized by gastro acid
I know I've said this multiple times but I know the developers of the game took a look at the sword and shield manga and decided to create a pokemon off of eternatus poison there
@@markghanz7135 i only see one way to get rid of kingambit and that is tera fighting tera blast, also i didnt know that ghold was slower, i didnt play competitive from time ago and in my times i had seen a lot of scarf ghold running around (btw i played nat dex in showdown and as i know ghold and gambit are banned in there so pecharunt seems more usable here more than the gen 9 ou lmao)
It has a shell and is much bulkier than cloyster, but it can't do shell smash. Bummer. It doesn't have a way to poison steel typing. Another bummer. I think this pokemon can do a lot of bad things, but with obvious limits.
Very good mon, and if you’re using Pecharunt in doubles it also has access to Poison Gas to poison and confuse two mons at once

Only salandit line with corrosion can do that

Yeah that is what I ment. Its dissapointing that Poison Puppeteer didnt have a corrosion-like effect.
"watch my movie nerd" will live rent free in my mind now thank you.
Would be too OP@@virtualcolt

I wish it had toxic chain and poison puppeteer just to be extra crazy 😂
Or corrosion hit steel and poison types :O

just saying it would be kinda neat

I boxed it...
My team is already to good
My team is Ceruledge, (Shiny) Lucario, Terapagos, (Water) Ogrepon, (Shiny) Kyogre, and Baxcalibur
if this thing was legal in vgc then poison gas would go crazy on it
What the hell was that sound in 0:00? 😂😂😂
That's a voice clip of Raikou from Fate Grand Order.
So what I'm picking up is new stall just dropped
Gholdengo/kingambit: wassup
Gholdengo needs to watch out for a Nasty Plot shadow ball combo or Poltergeist since Pecharunt is actually faster. For kingambit you are right.

I didn’t know that it was so physically bulky
Does Poison Pupeteer also work if a Pokémon is poisoned by toxic spikes in front of Pecharunt? Or does he need to dorectly poison the opponent?
the abbility says that only poison that peachurunt does, so prop no
