Yeah, i kinda feel like Claudia thinks life in Poland is sad and depressing and we still got communism. Like, i got it, for most immigrants their image of their country frozed when they left.

@@juliakania6552 I agree that the older generation/current ruling party is quite divisive and that there is work to be done. Fingers are crossed for the next election. However, I can't help but compare my experiences in Krakow, Poland with the United States, where I spent the first 24 years of my life. My international classmates of color in Krakow have said on many occasions that they feel safer here walking around at night alone or interacting with the police than they ever did in the United States. This may have less to do with lack of racism, however, and more to do with the fact that Poland is generally a much safer place than the United States when it comes to violence/homicides/arrests/kidnapping. It is the third safest country in the EU. Many Americans have a vastly outdated view of Poland as being a freezing, war-torn, gray, poor, dangerous Soviet country. They are shocked when they arrive and see that Poland is a bubbly, colorful, clean, safe, first-world country with modern amenities. Many Polish people who originally moved to the United States after the wall fell are moving back now, citing a better quality of life.
@@olgal9342 thank you for those informations, it's really nice and refreshing to hear, notice and then appreciate good things in our country and also know that US are not that golden country when dreams come true like everyone here seem to think ;) Hopefully Polish government get it shit together and we won't come back to this grey, poor, soviet country... Yeah, fingers crossed, even tho everything indicates that we are going in the opposite direction :// But let's stay hopeful!

It feels like every single youtuber and online personality has started a podcast in recent years, and it’s hard to tell which ones are really worth listening to. This was such an entertaining and intelligent episode, and I’m glad I found you guys! Claudia is also the best! 💓

I've been following Claudia for years and years because we have so much in common, but hold up this is hilarious because I'm Polish-American and anytime I have a hightened emotion my brain automatically goes straight to Polish. I can definitely relate to losing my Polish over the years but having my parents not speak English at all really helped me not lose it completely. In 2018 they moved back to Poland from Chicago, and thankfully I've been able to go visit them this year. Please absolutely go visit Poland and go travel to all the major cities! It's a beautiful country with such an incredible and rich history.

She’s so well spoken ! Most of the RUclipsrs are “ughh” “I don’t know” “yeahh” “hahahaha”. Even Natalie in bffs podcast couldn’t talk properly and she seems to be a well spoken woman. No unnecessary pauses in videos unlike other RUclipsrs. Claudia is so natural

@@youmeandi100 but Claudia is very articulate in what she’s trying to express. She’s not beating around the bush or stalling the question. I get they asked Natalie very sensitive and uncomfortable questions with she should have been prepared for such questions. It just came across that she has really bad communication skills which is strange because she communicates with other people for a living.

Ugh! I had braces twice too! Literally for the same reason. My dentist convinced my parents to take me to an orthodontist because I "needed braces" even though I still had my baby teeth. And then once they all were gone, my teeth shifted making me need braces again 😭
