I think connor’s nightmare has to do w his undiagnosed adhd, bc when you have adhd you always feel like you’ve forgotten something important, or like you’re behind and have to catch up lol

The college dream I have allll the time. But one time it fr happened to me… I had a class that was M W FRI and for some reason my scrambled mind only saw the M W so I never looked at my schedule again after I looked and memorized it. I went to the class for three weeks and was so confused how everyone knew what was going on every Monday I was soooo confused. Then the teacher called me up and said I had already failed because I had been absent too many times…. I was so baffled I actually did that. Luckily it wasn’t as scary as it is in dreams bc I still graduated on time and it was fine lol
Sounds weird but I always recommend anyone going to therapy to pick someone about the same demographic as themselves… sometimes helps people feel like they are more understood about different problems
Completely agree with Connor on sounds! I don't want to be angry when I hear sounds, I know it's my problem and not anyone else's. I believe the sensory issues may stem from ADHD rather than Autism.
For me its the sound of random things people are doing right outside my room the walls are so thin i can hear the (toxic) news channel being played in the living room From my room like the vibration of their voice it really makes me violent i hit myself

Even such sounds as squeaky door handles/breaks or anything like that makes me feel so violent (I'm in therapy for this amongst many other things)
I have literally the exact same kind of misophonia as Connor, Jesus I haven’t felt so validated in my life lmfao that whistle sound drives me bat shit crazy and I wish I could take something or do something to get it to go away but you can’t :/
i used to get the car one when i was younger like 10 but it was me and my little brother. i also had a facial paralysis dream n the reasoning behind it was kind of fitting

Here to help with the duvet dilemma! flip the duvet cover inside out and tie the further ends (on the side that doesn’t zip) and then flip the duvet right side out and hold the corners you just tied and the cover will fall over the blanket and then tie the remaining corners and zip up! Just wanted to share because it has made it less daunting :) also! at least for a queen size blanket it is just a square shape so it doesn’t matter which corner you tie where!

You do NOT want a therapist to tell you to “buck up”. The whole point of therapy is working THROUGH your issues and conquering them. Not going over, around, or ignoring them because you’re a dude.
