wow, Palio TCT is a very stiff and fast blade....but from the video looks like marcus was able to control the SG. Would please tell me what kind of the sponge? is it the red barna sponge? regards
@@JoachimKarlgren just bought palio tct and plan to put the SG on it. Do you have any idea whether to use Red DMS sponge with the thickness 1.2mm or the one with 1,6mm ?
Please correct me if the following 2 statements are wrong: 1. SuperGlanti offers more spin reversal than Storkraft *at the same sponge length*. 2. And, again for the same sponge length, storkraft lets you do more precision shots than glanti due to the higher control it offers. - If these are true, then my next question is the following: What about when you compare the thinner storkraft to thicker glanti in the case of 1.2 storkraft to 1.6 glanti? For example, can we say at 1.2mm storkraft, you get more spin reversal and control then 1.6 glanti? I'm trying to find the best mm and rubber that gives me the highest control while having ENOUGH spin reversal to makr the rubber dangerous enough.
Yes, more spinreversal from SuperGlanti, on most blades. 1.2 Störkraft is a little faster than SG 1.6, but back spin on blocks is better on SG. In general, attacking back spin is better with Störkraft. But this is dependent on what blade you use. All these antis are very dependent on blade, and you need to find the one that suits you and your technique. There are now different sponges for SG and it is rather easy to change sponge on Störkraft - that is yet another parameter to take into account...
Hello Joachim, i am a Defender and i have blades : VKM defensive, VKM Spécial , BTY Korbel, and Donic senso defplayv3. Which blades are suitable for anti spin super glanti or storjraft. Thanks you
@@CHONG76600 hi let me answer this one , the defensive blade would not work with anti. You need an all plus minimum and even then you d need carbon . If korbel is similar to this description it would be it . I haven’t tried any of those blades but used superglanti on 3 different blades
And one more thing. I never see you playing offensiv with the Anti (neither you or Andrea or Marcus) like the guys from TT Maximum do it when they demonstrate the Buffalo or when spinlab is demonstrating the Vortex with their two videos. Is it the equipment or are these videos fakes?
It is extremely difficult to play a drive against even the slightest top spin with those kinds of anti. Some of Neubauers are not as slippery and can therefore be used in another way. If you have a blade that kills spin reversal or a very soft sponge and not that hard top sheet, you may play a catious drive against slight top spin. With ABS2 soft or Vortex it is possible. Not with SuperGlanti unless you are very careful.

It is very confusing. I like what I see about Glanti (Andrea Aschi, you, Marcus Johannsen...) but I don't get this spin reverse. My opponents just shoot every single ball. They can't do that when I play with my long pips. Probably it is the blade. But which one is good. I saw Marcus playing with barna victory and winner just usual allround baldes. The guys from TT geblockt used a barna Champion (defense) und you show a palio TCT. Looking awesome with super Glanti but there is no controll on forehand from both of you. Is it possible to use something less aggressiv and Not so stiff and get still the same Spin and fast chops?
Easiest is to use blades made anti, start with Barna Victory, very nice allround. Neubauer Matador is also good. Palio TCT is actually not bad at all for FH if you use a softer rubber. Today I used it with Yasaka Rakza 7 soft 2.0, very nice!
This is awesome. How do we order a few of those Palio TCTs? I think you were talking about it being very affordable on the OOAK forums. Frictionless anti and Hard/stiff blades a match made in heaven. I'd like to try many anti's on this special blade such as storkraft, reflection.

I am extremely impressed with the spin reversal this 1.6 creating on Palio TCT. I'm wondering whether I can chop well from distance too. did you experience chops away table with this combo above?
@@WeeklyFreshTableTennis Chopping from distance is not good with frictionless anti. The spin will be about the same all the time (very little back spin) and most players detect this after the först rally and then just smashes through your chops. Blocking at the table is far more effective. But you can chop if you for some reason is caught away from the table. But do not build your game around that stroke with that anti.
Vortex with red sponge. I only tried it in 1.2, can't even imagine how to play it in 2.3, must be so slow that you have to use force to get the ball over the net.
