@ Not Yet Engineer 3:16 Digispark ---> AVR ? Is it called differently now ? I have only seen Digispark pwm (it is always needed). I am going ahead anyway. By the way I am cracking up with Arduino + usbhost which always gives me problems what do you know about it? Thank you very much.
Thank you so much. Tried other websites and videos but yours was simple and to the point. One odd thing is I have a MacBook Air mid 2012 Mojave and the digispark clone from Amazon worked worked without a hub, just plugged it in. Although a usb hub may add some protection from bad wiring??
Thank you for the positive response, and yes it would add extra protection against short circuit or other to your macbook, glad that you got our problem solved
Hello !!! Great tuto!!!! but for me on my M1. When i try to verify my script before to send the script. ".......Arduino15/packages/arduino/tools/avr-gcc/4.8.1-arduino5/bin/avr-g++: bad CPU type in executable" Do you have idea? Thanks in advance, and happy new year !!
Hello, Thanks for the tutorial. I am getting the following error `fork/exec /Users/sam/Library/Arduino15/packages/arduino/tools/avr-gcc/4.8.1-arduino5/bin/avr-g++: bad CPU type in executable Error compiling for board Digispark (Default - 16.5mhz).` Any idea?
I tried to unplug the board, run the upload, and plug the board within the 1st 5 seconds... not working. I tried 2-3 times ... not working. Then I give a last try to upload without doing anything, just with the board plugged and ... everything worked strange, no ?
I have success uploaded a sketch to my digispark. But now and when I tried to upload another sketch my computer is not recognizing the digispark. And it is simply timing out even when I put it in, in the first five seconds.
I'm having a problem with my ATTiny85, no matter what computer I plug it into it isn't recognised, the Windows 10 / Linux LMDE 4 Debbie / MacOS 10.13.6 don't see it, Arduino IDE upload always gives a timeout. I have followed all tutorials and setup guides I can find but nothing helps. I get the red light on the ATTiny85 (I have tried two with the same results) but that's all. Any suggestions please? I have confirmed that my USB cable is a data cable.
for windows try installing drivers, for others I assume you tried everything, maybe the boards peripheral isnt not working, have you tried using other cable or a new board?
Steve Job is dead have some respect man.

It says "error compiling for board Digispark"
first upload the code and then when it says uploading the board just the plug in the usb
Same to me. “Error compiling for board Digispark” even I didn’t plug the module yet.
@@trk994 set the board correctly in the compiler
