Temple of Diana, more accurately known as the Temple of Evora
    Jardim de Diana
Front of the Sé of Evora, and the entry fee
    Delicious Sushi buffet
and of course there are plenty of menu shots!

@@FrugalTravellers it was, indeed, very special studying there. There are several spots through the city related to academical traditions. In Praça do Giraldo, for example, the "Coluna Maldita", where we were cursed if we passed behind it, the Sé Catedral is a major point to freshmen. Some of the essence has been lost through the years because of the tourism explosion. While I lived there, it had a significant amount of tourists, however Portugal, overall, had a boom and the identity of the country is being transformed. In spite of having visited Alentejo, in the 5th outubro street, you saw a Galo de Barcelos, whose history is almost 500 km to north. If you go to Azores, mainly in S. Miguel, you'll find it also. It doesn't make sense to me. Is just one simple example. It's not a portuguese problem, it's global, but what we are visiting is more and more a cosmetic operation to atract and please tourists. I don't go to Algarve very often, but when I'm there I feel I'm visiting another country. My instinct is almost of starting speak in english to someone understand me.
I want to believe that a great part of the visitors are really interested of knowing how Portugal really is, instead of just being layed down having sun bathes.
I'm waiting for the next videos. You waked my "saudade" of my warming Alentejo.

It is a good thing that Churches have started to charge entrance fees. If one goes into a museum or art gallery one expects to pay a fee. The 3.50EU would have been worth it to see the chapel of bones. Go see the stone circles, older than stone henge and the egyptian pyramids, just outside of the east side of the city.

Hello Roy. The price has actually gone up, but keep watching to see if we visit the Chapel of Bones 😉 We would have loved to have visited the stone circles but unfortunately we ran out of time... it's a great reason to return to Évora one day! ~ Mandy 😀😁
