Edgar hand-picked Stormfront for a reason. To make her the patsy leader of the people that hate Vought. That way, they can control that narrative as well. Stormfront talking shit about their toys and shirts is a small price to pay to get the attention away from the Compound V fiasco. Plus, she's taking Homelander spotlight, which is not exactly on Edgar's good side at the moment. Or at least that's how I see it.

Edgar is using stormfront to support vaught. she is still painting the "super terrorists" as villains and reinforcing the need for supe's so she is ultimately helping vaught by attacking vaught for superficial things while strengthening support for its actual aim (using conflict with super-terrorists to create support and make money).

With regards to Stormfront's agenda, consider that anything, even counter-culture anti-corporate rhetoric, can be appropriated by a corporate entity to serve their needs. So Stormfront's anti Vought position in the public eye might just be exactly what Vought wants from her, whether she knows it or not. Mr. Edgar would certainly be aware that that's what she's doing, not like he's in the dark about her activities at all.
Above all, I am always amazed at how Americans manage to be so little self-reflective, no matter how obviously this show points to it. All that this show shows is what really happens all the time in America.
I was kind of surprised they showed Anthony Starr without the muscle padding. He looks so different without it, and if Doppleganger really turned into Homelander, he should have had the muscles too, but adding extra muscle would have been a real pain without the costume.
The only thing that keeps homelander to be a villain, it's his need for social approval and now storefront it's incepting in his mind that he doesn't need people to love him, he need people who share his hate and are willing to be soldiers for him. Now, that's worrisome. And while this happens, Mr. Edgar can be using to stormfront to cover the public that doesn't like vought, so he can cover all the market.
Somehow this seemed like the least crazy and violent episode of the season so far yet also the most crazy and violent episode of the season so far. That scene with the brother after he was beaten was disturbing. And that last scene with Homelander(s) was....well......wow.
With the revelation that Vought was founded by a Nazi and that Compound V had been around in one form or another since WWII, my guess is that Stormfront is actually much older than 70 and has been kicking around in one identity or another since Vought himself created her in Nazi Germany.
Stormfront has more powers than her persona as Liberty (they mentioned she was a 2nd tier hero) so maybe there's a secret version 2.0 of Compound-V that gave her powers even stronger than Homelander. Also, she sounds and acts drunk in the flashback, so maybe that was why she was 2nd tier.
This Episode is the most calm episode as of now, Starlight chillin with the two😂 I really loved this episode because I feel like A-Train is gonna become a hero along with Starlight and the El diablo gang(Hughie and the others.
A train might flip honestly this could be the tipping point and he help starlight but that tension between him and Hugh would boil up prolly the final season or maybe the second to last season
I wouldn't consider A-Train a reliable asset to join the Boys for four reasons: He killed Robin, he wants Hughie dead for the death of Popclaw(even though A-Train killed her, not Hughie), and he has a bad heart from all the Compound V he took, and he supplied terrorists with Compound V all over the world. I doubt Butcher would let him on the team anyway. We all know he hates Supes.
In the comics homelander says he’s not gay because of things like this he is just so power hungry such a control freak and feels he can do whatever he wants that he doesn’t see it in that way
stormfront might be made opposition? y'know, to catch and be an alternative side for the vought haters - it's been done in reality so many times, a common and effective strategy also: that reaction of kacee :D
I just had a really scary thought. Liberty was blonde, American themed hero, with flight, super strength. If Stormfront is Liberty, and she is in her seventies, what if she is Homelander's mother? We actually don't know where Homelander came from. As for A Train, it is more likely he will go after Huey even harder now, blaming him for the loss of his spot.
I think Stormfront's antics were anticipated by Edgar, and it's something he set up for her to think she's the one gaining control of The Seven. But in reality, Edgar put her there knowing she would try to overthrow Homelander and use anti-Vaught propaganda to do it. So in fighting Stormfront, Homelander would be fighting FOR Vaught. Edgar figures that losing his position in the sever will get Homelander to realize how much he needs it, and by extension, Vaught. Killing Stormfront would renew his loyalty to Edgar. But I doubt that Edgar anticipated that Stormfront's words would get to Homelander and change his mind about Vaught.
I'm not sure A-Train's heart is gonna let him join The Boys. But hey, Dude, if you need an operation, and you're pressed for money, remember the words of Springfield's Stellar Surgeon, Dr. Nick Riviera, "You've tried the best, now try the rest....any operation for $129.95!".
Edgar was probably like "yo Lamplighter, you're beginning to get a little wild out here, killing people for no reason and all that,so im gonna pull you out of the Seven and put you in "Subtle Rehab"(rehab to surpress her racist desires to kill and being out of control) and youll then be reborn as STORMFRONT."
This episode was so great. A LOT happened and we got some really sweet reunion moments with Annie/Hughie and Butcher/Becca. And the scene with Mother's Milk and Annie bonding over "fathers and sugar." Good stuff!! I even loved the end scene with Doppelganger trying to appease Homelander in any way he could think of...I feel like he was really trying to save his own life somehow. But oops. (Even though, I think if circumstances would have been different - and Homelander wasn't already so pissed off and feeling betrayed by everyone - he might have gone for it...at least once. I mean, he is pretty narcissistic. 😂😂) And even though I wish Becca would have been able to go with Butcher, I get it. She's right. He loves her, but he hates supes so much, especially Homelander, and I don't think he could have been a caretaker to Ryan in any way. That motherly instinct is stronger than anything else. She had to let Butcher go....again. I wonder how this will affect his motivations going forward. I hope we get to see more of Becca and Ryan as the show progresses.
I noticed a couple reactors left out a great part. The part where black noir is "helping" that woman find Butcher. That was probably my favorite part of this episode. Lol
I called it I caLed it!!!! I knew liberty was stormfront in the comics stormfront is guy based in design of Shazam in combination of Thor with his backstory saying he is a reincarnated Viking her belt has the nazi eagle and her earrings are in the shape of the nazi ss symbol. In the comics stormfront was made first then homelander which makes sense sense age would be older like 70
I feel like there is more behind it all, especially when Edgar was talking about the Nazis being involved with it all....maybe Stormfront is what the Nazis made as she doesn't seem to age and basically behaves like one?
I got a weird suspicion that stormfront is a descendant of Hitler and the first supe made, just cuz of the role compound V played on ww2 as edgar explained, vought worked for the nazis. Yo I have a feeling they're about to uncover some major conspiracy, this show just keeps getting bonkers and bonkers lol ❤❤ it. I love how they're embracing the craziness more and more 😆😆
Kacee has such a pure heart I'd vote her for President ❤️💯😂 The world would be a better place. Love Anthony too You guys are the Best réacteurs out there ❤️💯👏🏾 So smart with your analysis really just great all-round^^
i bet stormfront is actually one of the original compound V test subject that was created for the Nazis and she was raised to be the perfect Aryan (like homelander was raised to be the perfect american) and when the war was over the scientist that made her took her with him when he fled to the US
Does anyone else think that Stormfront is connected to the Nazis? In episode 1 we found out that the creator of Compound V was a Nazi. Maybe she is way older than we think. It would make sense. She told Homelander that she had to “adapt to the times.” Historically when Nazi Germany fell, many Nazis fled to South America and infiltrated democratic governments and turned them into dictatorships. For example Augusto Pinochet in Chile. Maybe Stormfront is trying to do the same thing with The Seven. Love your channel!
homelander is so ready to snap. that is going to end so badly. killing doppleganger doesnt count...homelander was never going to let him live to tell that story anyway...thats just another day to him. you know what A-train....if i was you i would just walk away while they still let you...
I think that since every member has a reason to leave the 7 the end of this show will probably the boys and ever supe vs homelander. Maeve wants to keep her boo safe, a train got kicked out and was forced to kill his own gf by homelander, the deep got kicked out and its seen as a joke by homelander, annie is already with the boys, and black noir I still got no idea what his deal is
I feel like Black Noir is searching out Butcher to get back at Vaught for lying to him. Remember he cried when the truth came out, I think his beliefs were deeply rooted in the fact he was “chosen” and it turns out that it was all a lie. That he killed all these people in the name of a lie for an evil corporation.
The amount of parallels between stormfronts speech and today social climate is crazy. Especially the part about anger. And adapting to the times, trying to revive racism with a modern twist like many trump supporters are doing.
I feel like Homelander is done with lies. He started that thought last season when he killed Stillwell, and I think after his confrontation with Stormfront, it just brought it more into focus. The end of lies could also be why he outed Maeve, and ended the episode by killing Doppleganger. This would make Homelander even more dangerous. We've already seen the two faces he wears, the first being the front he shows when the public is watching, and the other when he's in private. He already has shown he hates pretty much everyone who he views lesser than himself, and now that he's tired of lies, he may stop putting up his phone public persona and live his real self regardless who's watching.

Lmfao Yoooooooo I love when she said do it I was the same way kill storm front
I wouldn't consider A-Train a reliable asset to join the Boys for four reasons: He killed Robin, he wants Hughie dead for the death of Popclaw(even though A-Train killed her, not Hughie), and he has a bad heart from all the Compound V he took, and he supplied terrorists with Compound V all over the world. I doubt Butcher would let him on the team anyway. We all know he hates Supes.
In the comics homelander says he’s not gay because of things like this he is just so power hungry such a control freak and feels he can do whatever he wants that he doesn’t see it in that way
I was SHOOK when they showed Myrons face too!
feel like one of the boys will get a hold of compound v and use it on themselves. would be cool af
Edgar is using Stormfront to control the people who are against vought.
Kacee with the homelander eyes Do It!!! LOL
Kacee inner Darth Sidious came out at 14:23 😂😂😂
stormfront might be made opposition? y'know, to catch and be an alternative side for the vought haters - it's been done in reality so many times, a common and effective strategy
also: that reaction of kacee :D
no one reacts better to the boys than these two.
Well, in the comic Homelander is made from Stormfront’s DNA so it’s possible.
Great, i get to go through that ending again.
This episode had the most graphic scene
Translucent : am I a joke to you
Love you guys greetings from algeria
In the comics stormfront was made first then homelander which makes sense sense age would be older like 70
18:41 So you're saying 'Stormfront' was just a 'front' for 'Liberty?' ... Guess, the clue was there in the name all along, hidden in plain sight.
I feel like there is more behind it all, especially when Edgar was talking about the Nazis being involved with it all....maybe Stormfront is what the Nazis made as she doesn't seem to age and basically behaves like one?
She might even be one of the original supers.
4:26 LOOOL
Great reaction guys
I got a weird suspicion that stormfront is a descendant of Hitler and the first supe made, just cuz of the role compound V played on ww2 as edgar explained, vought worked for the nazis. Yo I have a feeling they're about to uncover some major conspiracy, this show just keeps getting bonkers and bonkers lol ❤❤ it. I love how they're embracing the craziness more and more 😆😆
12:56 -- Is Kacee crying? If so, I wanna hug her!!!
Love your reactions!
Stormfront: how many more people have to die
Me: idk how many more people you feel like killing 😐

Homlander scene was crazy
Edgar could be the fly. Itd make so much sense but idk think they said he's not.
11:10 "not now not now not now"
Ayyyye North Carolina hey Fayetteville up in here
This episode had so many funny moments
homelander is so ready to snap. that is going to end so badly. killing doppleganger doesnt count...homelander was never going to let him live to tell that story anyway...thats just another day to him. you know what A-train....if i was you i would just walk away while they still let you...
I think that since every member has a reason to leave the 7 the end of this show will probably the boys and ever supe vs homelander. Maeve wants to keep her boo safe, a train got kicked out and was forced to kill his own gf by homelander, the deep got kicked out and its seen as a joke by homelander, annie is already with the boys, and black noir I still got no idea what his deal is
Go read comics
I feel like Black Noir is searching out Butcher to get back at Vaught for lying to him. Remember he cried when the truth came out, I think his beliefs were deeply rooted in the fact he was “chosen” and it turns out that it was all a lie. That he killed all these people in the name of a lie for an evil corporation.
The amount of parallels between stormfronts speech and today social climate is crazy. Especially the part about anger. And adapting to the times, trying to revive racism with a modern twist like many trump supporters are doing.
I think StormFront is normally blond and she’s Homelanders mother. He was born in the 70s and all.
What if Stormfront is Homelander's mother? She is 70 years old, she is (was) blonde....
