I love the new launcher! i have some start up lists like all jf jump routes or all my miners. For each i have a own start up group. Only downside is that i missed in the beginning a lot of daily login rewards Why someone has to click everything is breaking my mind. Redeeming the stuff should be enough
With regards to the Tactical Shield Manipulation skill I think I understand your reasoning however the numbers are incorrect. Without the skill trained damage has a 25% chance of penetrating your shields when they drop below 25%. By training TSM to 4 you reduce that by 5% per level meaing there is only a 5% chance of damage penetraing your shields. By taking the skill to 5 you are only reducing it by the last 5%, i.e. no damage hitting Armour until all Shields are gone. If you're trying to optimise your skills for a newer player (or even alt), the only reason to train TSM to 5 is if you plan to fly a Rorqual as it's a prerequisite for using the PANIC module otherwise it's a lot of skill training to mitigate a very small chance of damage penetrating your shield. My only other comment for new players especially , level 4 in most skills is perfectly fine, max out things like fitting, tank and navigation skills (things you get use out of on every ship you fly), there's usually very little benefit pushing skills to 5 in niche areas (Gunnery, Missile or Drone Specializations) as the difference is often negligible and you'll get more benefit (and fun) from training a few other skills in the time taken.
