The Mega Drive has countless awesome soundtracks and Langrisser AKA Warsong's score is one of the finest among those. Also, cowbells for the win! #bestsegamegadrivemusic #bestsegagenesismusic
Ha YUP! I remember the first time I played that scenario. That entire level goes something like this. Oh sweet, AI help.... Hey, wtf? Thorne, what are you doing? Thorne, you're wasting your dudes. THORNE! Staaahp! Please stop. Don't go after that guy! He's a BOSS... Damn.
This brings back some memories. I got this game because of an Electronic Gaming Monthly short on it. Snagged it up and it became one of my most favorite Genesis games ever. Unfortunately none of the other Langrisser (orig.Japan title) games have ever crossed the Pacific before or since Warsong did for the Genesis. This enemy theme was by far the best in the game, BTW.
nice music ^^ one of the best in the game ^^ mang...i would prefer this game over most games out there from all consoles...alto graphy is cute and not high tech but i really like how they drew em in this game really appealing =]

@zomgwtfbbq6969 This and Toejam Earl. People praise the SNES chip left and right, but the Genesis could sound much better if the sound hardware was used correctly.
this game simply put other genesis music to shame. How can other genesis games' music compare to warsong. Its like this game doesnt even belong to the genesis. Its too good for it :P
I guess that was an ironic comment otherwise I hope that you learned a bit about the Mega Drive sound capabilities and soundtrack library during those 9 years since you posted that!
Самый четкий колокольчик из всех на sega!
I can hear Mina's citizens dying as this theme plays... AHH AHH AHH AHH AHH AHH AHH AHH AHH AHH *Pfft!*
Pops Just from reading that I can hear it. Warsong's sound effects stick with you.
LOL!!!!!!
poor citizens.. but how can mina protect them all when the enemy brings their Cowbell game?
Protect them better! I had no problems, zero casualties.
@@princemarth9057 But that's half the fun, hearing them scream as they charge Malvese in futility.
More cowbell!
The music of Warsong is so god damn epic. Needs more cowbell though :)
Cowbell for the win! Agreed haha

I still get this one stuck in my head, randomly, sometimes.
They remade this for Langrisser mobile...but no cowbell. Its just not the same...
Yeah I love the cowbell.

Good to see they’re trying every track for the mobile game though. They actually did a good job with some of the tracks. This one though? Not so much.

I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell...
This reminds me of the music from The King of Dragons for SNES. Though, technically, yes this came first.
Wiped out my entire squad!!!
wow this song, brings back the memory, first time i heard when in the 3rd scenario when trying to rescue Mina from the tribe....
i love this bad ass music

I'm not sure that it did 8 years ago. Looking at comments on videos this old will often be lacking the reply chain.
Needs more cowbell.
And to think that the best music for the game is for when the badguys :)
Good!!
Try playing this at 1.75x speed.
Wait is greatsword, langrisser's name in warsong?
@DevilBuster Kaz alright thank you
