Great job! It can be hard to find cooking tutorials that are informative of the recipe visually, textually, and verbally, as well as being succinct and entertaining. Keep up the great work :) Will definitely give this recipe a try.

@@StillwaterKitchen I made this for dinner tonight! It was really easy and delicious. You're right about how you can't even taste the veggies so it's great if you have veggies that you really should be eating for your health but are not that keen on the taste. I used fusilli pasta instead of rice since that's what I had in the fridge but it still worked well. Definitely a repeat recipe! 👍
      Thank you for sharing it😊

I love dishes like this but I have a very low tolerance for anything spicy. I know I could leave the chili powder out, but if the jalapeno seeds have been removed, will the jalapeno add much spice? I've heard that it won't but I've been too afraid to try!

Good question! I don’t find a lot of the grocery store chili powders hot so much as flavorful but if you know it’s too much, yup, leave it out. Smoked paprika may be a spice to experiment with as its smoky flavor is chili adjacent but not usually spicy. (While most that I find are NOT hot, there is a spicy version of paprika so def taste a tiny bit before using in your dish.)
Jalapeños are sometimes a gamble - they vary so much between pepper! Safest is to leave them out. You could substitute with more bell pepper, or another mild flavored pepper like those little sweet peppers that I’ve seen bagged in the produce section…but a substitution isn’t necessary here unless you want to :)
