One of the best explanations particularly in respect to how it's condensed, and supplemented with animations, I've found on youtube. Have you stopped working on this channel and the pharmacademy?

CCBs are a difficult class to get to grips with so I'm glad you found it useful. Don't forget to subscribe!

Would love if you could also cover anti-coagulants as you mention them in your anti-platelet videos. I love how you cover the material, thank you.

Can we include the explanation of phosphorylation of myosin light chain which is mediated m=by calcium influx? At what part of this explanation would that be appropriate? Thanks in advance!

@ 0:35 is ACh the stimulus for smooth muscle contractility? I thought it would be a catecholamine?

      my question too!

    • @isaaclee6545

I think Ach is for endothelial mediated vasodilation not constriction.

@@isaaclee6545 I might be wrong, but I think Ach is the main inhibitor transmitter for the parasympatic activity on the heart. I'm not sure if it acts on the smooth muscle in the blood vessel wall, but I know adrenaline does through the sympatic pathway. :)

Sorry but its Dilation not "Dilatation". But overall very informative thanks.
