Helpful hint: Try to keep an eye out for your letter kerning. I can see the opening titles have uneven letter spacing. If you change your settings in Adobe from “metric” to “optical” for the letter kerning you can usually fix it! Not sure why Metric is the default. Now you know!
The art style constantly changing strangely suits the aesthetic of this song.
It fits the various voices and changing of themes within the music.
I couldn't agree more, that's the type of thing that you'd almost believe was in the original video because of how perfectly it fits

I interpreted it as having a double meaning. The parrot could either spill secrets about the woman thus needing to be "silenced" or the bird has secrets the woman needs to threaten out of it.

So much care was out into this that it feels like each artist got to animate their favorite part
it really was like that. we were all super excited the whole time
There was really only one shot that was super crazy popular and everyone wanted it, other than that we were all allowed to pick and choose which ones we wanted

I didn’t like it first time but the “you’re crazy in the coconut 🥥” line kept playing in my head. So the song grew on me

I finally gave in and saw the original music video for Frontier Psychiatrist, and this is fitting because someone there said it was like a documentation of memes that don’t exist
Something I like about the remix is a lot of the references they make are from shows and characters from before or around 2000.
Reanimating The Avalanches, especially that video, is brilliant. Such a perfect fit given their plunderphonic style.

something about that cuckoo clock sound effect when i listen to this song just punches me so hard cuz of how *perfect* it is in the song
bar none my favorite segment of this whole project, that small animation segment just demonstrates the punch that it has
Love the little sound effects, the song has around 30 samples and that one is one of my favorites just because they thought “wanna put a cuckoo clock in there?”

It was the first I've ever taken part on but was so super well organised by Hrabbit and is literally bursting with incredible animators! I am addicted to the remix by M. Bulteau at the end too! Hey, you animated the part at 3:38 right? I just wanted to say, this part was my absolute favorite. This song as a whole makes me feel a lotta nostalgia, but that scene in particular really struck me. It brought up memories of watching those old cartoons with my grandmother when I was young, which made me really happy. This whole video was a masterpiece, but your animation really stood out to me, so thank you.

It was an honnor to be a part of such an ambitious and creative project, and it's wonderful seeing all of these shots put together. The joy and passion in every shot is so clear! The grid shots were my favorite part, seeing so much fun art one after another really gave me goosebumps!

Oh this is absolutely wonderful! Frontier Psychiatrist was always one of my favorite videos and one that I'd share with anyone when we start having one of those "what's the strangest video you can find" threads lol. I'm so glad it's gotten the attention it deserves! And by so many talented artists too!

edit: okay but legitimately im SO HAPPY with how this came out!!!!! it was a blast working on the project with everyone and it turned out SOOO GOOOOD!!!!! EVERY SINGLE PART IS WOOONDERFULLY ANIMATED and the absurdity of a lot of these work SUPER WELL, not only with the other parts, but with the song itself... just. UGH. ITS SO GOOD. im so proud of everyone and im proud of YOU for putting it all together so expertly!!!

Honestly I didn't know this song could get any more awesome. Also granny on the drums was always the star of the show. I'm glad she got the glamour shots she deserved. Similar with the DJ.

I went in expecting to hate it, since I consider the original to be an amazing piece of art in all details. BOY did you surprise me!!
The level of creativity is way more than adequate, and you kept the spirit of the original video just enough but also made it your own. Wow! I'm actually impressed! The variety in styles wouldn't work as well with most other videos, but here it makes perfect sense and adds to the sheer insanity the song and original video are in a super pleasing way. Thank you!

This is one of my favorite songs with probably one of my favorite music videos so this is a fucking masterpiece to me.

Multi animator projects where animators just get to flex their own unique style and ideas on a concept in a quick manageable clip are my FAVORITE types of videos! They always turn out so cool when they're directed well. Reanimating non animated things should be the next trend! This was awesome!
