Sam is a very happy and positive person, In the UK he has been nicknamed THE VOICE. On the studio version of Fought & Lost Brian May of Queen played a guitar solo. Sam was invited back to this years Eurovision song contest to perform his song Mountain and Roger Taylor drummer for Queen played drums during his performance. The man can sing anything! As ppl mentioned before, Sam "started out" on Tik Tok during the pandemic, since his wife and friends told him to do so (he did not have tik tok before and years earlier did the same thing on Instagram, which "didn't work"). So they pushed him and he thought, why not. (he told us all that during a meet and greet before a concert in Berlin) So he became extremely successful on Tik Tok, then was asked by the BBC to represent the UK at Eurovision 2022, where he came second. The rest is history. I think the Song Fought and Lost was written for him by Brian May. By the way, I love Sue's smile while watching Sam "doing his thing" ;)

The 2022 Eurovision Song Contest was just a race for second place because the "war" made it certain that Ukraine would get such a huge sympathy vote from the public that they could present three minutes of chewing celery then squeeze out a curly one on stage and still win, and whoever was in the lead after the jury's votes (as it happened, the UK) would still lose. 5. 'Fought and Lost' was written by Sam with Jamie Hartman and Tom Howe. Brian May and George Strezov are guest artists on it. 6. Sue is partly right in how Sam ended up performing at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert. Queen was supposed to be performing with Adam Lambert, as for the past twelve years, but Adam was unexpectedly unavailable. Roger Taylor suggested to Dave Grohl that Sam sing with them instead. Dave sat down to watch and listen to some of Sam's performances and, just ten minutes later, called Roger back and asked him to ask Sam to perform on the show.

This wouldn't be my choice of compilations but anyway he now has several videos on RUclips of full songs he's written or covrs. Tiny Riot. More, Womens' Work. etc etc. He has covered a number of female singers on TikTok, as well as males because of his high range.
I suppose Sam could easily have a successful career in the music industry if he really wanted to. Dunno if he's just toying with his musical talent or if he's got a serious effort underway to become a star. Either way, he's a vocal chameleon it seems. Very impressive!
