At high level mastery (using more combat form - forward move without usual torso turning) i think it could be sometimes used as a hidden fint attack from unusual angle and it could be pretty powerful it need very short move of legs, core and shoulders - gets lots of force very quickly + strike's angle almost unpredictable, also as preparings for strike itself. You just don't wait shit like that for seriously .But of course it's exotic anyway.

@@bearony2082 This is just dumb. What would they have to gain by prohibiting people to learn it? If they are liars, then ehat is the truth, oh all-knowing one?
@Bearony well technically I used to think that but then going back into it and doing it multiple times with practice I figured out the best way is to twist your body and arm after it goes behind your back,do it slow at first then speed up when you feel comfortable
I was really focused on the hand movement then I got it by focusing on the shoulders Using the shoulders as if I was going to throw a ball with my hands (or slap it) and let the hand loose and the movement goes by itself
I had tried for a while a long time ago, couldn't get it for what ever reason, watching this 3 times I figured out why I sucked and now I'm spinning and light fixtures are broke
Ugh I've been trying to do this move for weeks now with no success. It just doesn't work for me. I've watched like, seven or eight different tutorials but I still can't get it, and idk what I'm doing wrong. The confusing part for me is always in the putting the saber behind your back and then rotating your hips and bringing the saber around. I can't get it right no matter how many angles I see it done in. 😬
Well the younglings had the non-lethal ones, it's well described in different media Even Darth Bane used to train with training sabers according to the great book by Drew Karpyshyn
Me: trying
Lightsaber: flying
People: dying
That’s not the Jedi way
i read this to michael jacksons "wanna be startin somthing"
Don’t forget to get them younglings in there|

Step 1:Draw a circle
Step 2: Execute Order 66
Its been about an hour and im finally getting the hang of it. Just gotta do it fast now without constantly smacking myself 😂
You'll get there for sure👌
I learned how to do something similar to this without practice. I just tried it and it worked, but I can’t spin it behind my back yet.
Hayden would be impressed with the speed
Many swordsman expert says that such move is "useless" in real battle, but who cares it's cool.

Btw, author have video of that form
"Perfect Obi-Ani lIghtsaber spin", if you interested. Whole another story compared to usual form.
@@BwHorH what do you mean by the usual form?

So much better then the 5 minute video I just watched
Thanks!😅
Thought it was much harder, this helped a lot.
Glad to hear that!
My gym coach be like:
Once i get the saber behind my back i can't get it to smoothly transition back to step one? It feels like i'm spinning it the wrong way or something
Dude same
Its because all of these tutorial makers are liars and dont want you to learn it

Well... I guess I gotta record from every side
I taught myself this
Try going on the sunbed if you want the light force❤
Can’t really do it in a flowing motion every time I get to my back
I have tried this and it just won't clock in my brain.

I might have done a fair share of that when I used to play badminton😅
Isn’t that motion called tha flourish?
A flourish is basically any lightsaber spinning combination
That's also tha default attack pattern in Dead Rising 3 when wielding a Last Jedi|
im trying to learn this but having tendonitis makes it hurt like hell
Take care man... It's all fun and games until something breaks
It fells like its to fast so i dont unserstand much😔
