In my opinion, yours is the best set-up I've seen so far. Those housings will handle all the 4s power you can put trough'em now. The choice of running a Castle/Holmes system is the best change, control-wise, I've seen. You need an excuse to get a raw 500 or 777 now. That thing is awesome, bubba.
I’ve got a raw 500 in the Lasernut that’s coming out and going in this. I got the Reefs 400sc servo that will go in the lasernut to replace that. I can’t see this needing a 777 for what I plan to do with it.
Looks to be Vitavons normal high quality. Seems like you deal with Vitavon as much as I do if not more Joe. It’s great cause I know you’ll show us the quality of the new products that I personally want to see. Sometimes I have the part before you but you always run it before I do so it’s great to get to see how it plays. BEAUTIFUL!!!
Those are really beautiful as well as being robustly engineered. I wish I had installed a servo wire extension as you did when I changed out my Bombers servo. Thanks for all the knowledge 😊 I will do the vitavon axles next after I break these axles but for now all I've had to do is add a copper shim in the front differential spool gear housing that came out of a brake caliper hose and brake caliper for a 1:1 scale vehicle 😂 to compress all the gears closer together 😊and I added high temp wheel bearing grease and after that I did nothing to the rear diff. So now I kinda have a front over drive but still have an open differential 😉

@@ExocagedRC I honestly don't know how the plastic stays together. I guess we dont give the manufacturers enough credit on a lot of this stuff because some of it is insanely tough!

Awesome vid!I I would be eternally grateful if you could help me with this question: Do you know of any bevel gears to use with the ryft until the axial ones are available again, or that are generally stronger than the stock ones? it's a shame you didn't push the stock axles a bit more. The Vitavon axles are a lovely bit of kit but at the end of the day its 200 bucks you shouldn't have to spend on the truck. Hopefully Axial will beef up the stock axles.
@@ExocagedRC good to know, I was really looking FWD to getting a Ryft or a Lasernut when they come in stock but to be honest the reviews have put me off. I don't want to be trapped with a broken car that I've got to spend 360 dollars on the axles or driveshafts just to make it work.

What motor esc combo are you running, and can it slow crawl, also you make the best ryft videos by far
Holmes Puller Pro 2100kv, it can crawl, but it not so good due to ratios. When they release the low gear for this, it will crawl fine, but not now.
