Did you notice that Viktor's voice is gradually changing to something more robotic? This is what happens in this scene and in the one where he talks about the Glorious Evolution of Singed. And this is very good because it shows that he is losing his humanity little by little, starting with his body and then with his voice.
So maybe Jayce didn't stop it so much as speed up whats coming. I've been thinking about this alot but maybe when Victor touches someone and they are heals someone, and touches their consiousness. He's really just assimilating them into whatever thing he is now a part of. He then creates a copy of their consiousness, but it's really only Victor, he has full control, and can take it whenever he wants, but he chooses not to, or subconsiously he chooses not to. Thats why he was able to look at vanders memories, because he took them into himself, but they were so fragmented that the download wasn't complete until he had all the memories at the Core of someone. Just a theory but it would explain why everyone but Warwick shut down, because Victor wasn't around to maintain to provide them with free will anymore so they just shut down, Warwick still had a seperate consiousness/instinct of whatever remains of the beasts of Singe's experiments. But all the others are basically just robots, programed with memories from Victor.
I think it’s the opposite. I noticed that Viktor’s voice sounds less robotic compared to previous episodes, which is a sign of his power diminishing with each uses (as mentioned by Singed when they met). This leads me to theorize that in the future, as Viktor exhausts his power, he becomes dead or empty, allowing the seemingly malicious Hexcore to take control of him and his creations, ultimately causing chaos. This could also explain why, when Jayce first saw Salo, the flashback depicted Salo as an empty, metal puppet. In the same scene, Jayce also asks Viktor, "Is Salo still in there?". Then, in the scene when Jayce shot Viktor, as he is dying, i like to think that Viktor also realizes that he is creating an empty, hollow puppet instead of curing them with Hexcore, thats why the next time when he revives (most definitely will), he will look for other means of helping the people of undercities apart from Hexcore thus achieving the GLORIOUS EVOLUTION lol lol
@@noblerebel2197I think you're ultimately right that he'd slip into it one way or another. It's why (I think) the version of him that had *succeeded* sent Jayce back to try and fix it. What I think was going on before the whole chest-hole incident (and why Sky was warning him about system limits) is that he'd only suspended their sense of fear and was investing extra power in preserving their individual minds, not making copies. He'd still start running out of juice regardless, Singed notices it immediately and tells him as much. He'd be driven to Death's door and forced to "harvest" Vander which would have led to a similar chain of events. Jayce blowing him up and watching the commune burn convinced him he had to switch people by force "for their own good" and it's why their personalities are wholly subsumed. We don't know how Oriana was mechanized, was it by Singed or Viktor? If it was Viktor, and her in-game version is similar enough, she's still herself.
While they are all connected in what you might call a hive mind, it seems to be more of a collective consciousness, not one dominating the other. They all seem to have free will but have ascended to a state of being beyond our understanding
Unfortunately, if they somehow cured Vander. It would break Warwick's lore, and i can't see the writers doing that. Even the creators have said themselves that Arcane is a story of tragedy. There's no hope for Vander.
@izi1902 It's highly unlikely. In Warwick's lore it says "death is the key to completing his transformation" Which to me says that Vander will have to die in order for him to fully become Warwick.
i also think its highly implied that if viktor did save vander, it would still not be the vander as they knew him - hed have viktors mark on him which yanno... the whole personality change would come with that also viktor might also be risking it for the biscuit... bc his team got no tanks or jgl
Funny enough, the lore as of writing this comment says that Warwick does still have memories, but can't remember them fully. Even before Arcane, he still is able to keep the beastly side somewhat in check by only harming bad folks. In game Champion interactions still shows that playable Warwick recognizes his daughters to a fair degree, despite everything: Against Vi: "Who taught you how to punch?" Against Jinx: "You were there," and "Let me forget." Arcne wise: Singed's serum he put in into Vand-wick is made to "undo Viktor's progress." Before Vi and Jinx took him to Vik, Vander-wick was still able to recognize Vi and Powder even before having the attempted help from Vik. That being said, there's still a chance for those moments, but yeah, I doubt it'll be fully resolved without some update to lore.
I love the connection the characters have with one another even before they exchanged introductions. Imagine the look on Victors face if he knew Vi had the gauntlets with her, or what Jinx would’ve thought knowing she could’ve killed Victor when she used fishbones on the council. I freaking love this show! 🤩
Victor's power is not as healing as he thinks it is. Also, since his power grows less each time, it would probably have led to his death and everyone else with him. Jayce has learnt about it's truth, which will be revealed soon.

I was so happy to see that Viktor is still just trying to help people. And I think Sky is actually dead, but the Sky Viktor sees is a manifestation of the Void, which is why "Sky" wanted to stop him from possibly offering all of his life force to saving Vander. Because the Void wants to spread as much as possible and can't do that without Viktor.
I think what she meant when saying all systems have limits is that even if Warwick’s beast side is resistant to Viktor’s influence, the fact he was able to connect to Warwick’s Vander side shows that the beast side can be overpowered given enough time and effort. To use a computer analogy, Viktor’s a hacker, Warwick’s beast side is the firewall, and Warwick’s Vander side is the computer system that’s being protected; eventually the hacker (Viktor) will bypass the firewall (Warwick’s beast side) to get into the system (Warwick’s Vander side).
@@thatoneguy5343nice interpretation, but since Viktor is talking about a risk he is willing to take, it’s more likely that she is talking about Viktor’s limits. We can know for sure that Sky isn’t the void, because she leaves after Viktor progresses the evolution with Singed. She’s probably more something like his conscience. And his conscience never mistrusted the void, even up to the point it (Sky) left. He really believed in his cause.
If Vander is brought back one more time in act 3, but is none the less destined to die for good, I hope he gets the chance to give Vi and Powder a proper goodbye, give them the closure they never got so they can finally heal and move on with their lives.
