- This is one of my favorite things to paint! I love a good Mandala Collage and I love metallic paint and color shift paints! I began this project like any other by trying to squeeze the first two mandalas together. Tucking, poking, squeezing etc. It hit my by the third Mandala... why not just overlap! Duh! I think that looks so neat! Why doesn't stuff like this cross my mind sooner? It seems so simple? 🙄 I can't wait to do a whole rock with the full overlaps! I'm so happy with how this came out! If you're looking for a good project to practice your teardrop petals... this one is for you! The reason I resin first is because it makes the paint just glide as you're dragging it around to create these petals!

I love the colors and the overlapping! I've done a few rocks like this myself. It's a perfect design for rocks that don't really have a round flat surface- great for oblong rocks!😀💖

I see you are using Anita's paint. how do you like it? I have some and I haven't played with it much. I might have to invest in the metallic colors if you say its good.
So far I’ve only tried the purples in metallics that I liked… all others fall short for me. But I’m 2 for 2 on purple metallics
