I started the day trying to buy a simple, single, scented candle off Amazon... and went down this rabbit hole of scented candle enthusiasts, candle trimmers, reed diffusers.... lol
I didn't even know you had to trim the wick, I kinda just flipped candles upside down and used a lighter.
There's so much to candle care lol. Hopefully I answered any questions you had lol.

There are 2 things that I have never bought online: cologne and candles. I say I have to smell the scents before I pay "the cents"! BUT, FOR THE FIRST TIME, I'M GONNA STEP OUT ON FAITH WITH YOU ON THIS ONE, BROTHER!

thanks for sharing. I only bought Cindrose from boy smells. At beginning I did not like it, did not smell like rose quite smelly ? however I burned it after three times the aroma comes out and I could say amazing its kind of sophisticated woman just pass by left a hint of floral smell and definitely smell of Rose and something else maybe turbo rose makes you impressed.
I haven’t tried cinderose yet. I may have to pick it up. Thanks!

I want something more on the smokier side than sweet kinda like burning wood/fireplace .I been really intrigued by cire trudon candles especially solis rex,but until i can justify the price tag i need something somewhat cheaper. I haven't tried Thompson Ferrier yet but I love candles that smell great AND are works of art. I will have to try TF.. The whole reason I checked out these videos was BC of Trudon...which are amazing scents and fabulous vessels. And those videos turned out to be a gem. I purchased some Jonathan Adler candles and have a Fornesti candle on back order. Im not sure their scents will compare to Trudon, Byredo, or Diptyque but their containers are amazing! How did you like the TF scents? Did they match the quality of the art work container?

I only buy 400g and up candles. I just can’t do smaller candles as I burn candles every day.

What do you think about "Movie Night" from Fragrance One?
Its a very sweet candle. Even though i do not prefer sweet scents, this one however is very subtle. It also contains the note of Gourmand which is more of a synthetic note. If i had to choose a candle from Fragrance One, I would definitely go for the Gentlemans Lounge which is oil infused. Both contain a wooden wick which is also a HUGE plus. Just depends on what notes you prefer.

Can anyone recommend a candle for work/productivity?
My first candle was a Nest candle Bamboo and it was so STRONG that it made my head hurt. I have a 2000 sq ft home and I could smell it outside but I heard from one of your videos that they werent good because they contained paraffin. So I went a bought some soy ones that you suggested and I dont smell them outside of standing right in front of them. Is it that I wont get that strong smell that I get from Nest because of the paraffin?
I bought Bamboo from NEST also and I also could not handle how strong it was. I felt sickened by it and I am wary to try any bamboo scented candles or maybe it was the paraffin.
I adore paraffin candles as they burn longer than soy and are stronger. Sadly most are switching to soy candles.
Nest is overboard in general. Not every paraffin candle is as strong as nest.
@@chantalrefuse6011 I know but you get your money's worth out of it though. I smell that candle all outside of my house. One thing though after about 2 days of burning it it mellowed out and it has lasted longer than any candle I've ever bought before.
@@Ohkeh640 yeah I know but you get your money's worth. I eventually started lighting it in the center part of my home and I can smell it all over. After 2 days it mellowed out and I got my money's worth out of this kind of more than any other. I just probably wouldn't burn them that often because I'm sure that Mess is toxic.
