- The last couple weeks have been kinda rough for me, BUT I'm turning it around this week. Welcome to my life living alone in my 30's in the greatest city in the world, New York City. I've been living here for 7.5 years (the .5 matters lol). In this video we run, we juice, we socialize, we actually realize life has a lot of wonderful moments and to savor those. Life is so short. Some juicing tips from a gal who works in a juice bar (i'll regretfully admit that I've slowly morphed into one of the frat boys there as time's gone by):
- Try and rinse out the machine ASAP, when the pulp dries it's horrid to get off
- On that same note, get yourself a bottle of Cafiza and a nail brush, it'll be your best friends for cleaning days
- If you add a tiny splash of olive oil in juices that doesn't have any fat soluble vitamins (like avocado) it helps the juice to not separate as quickly and makes it easier for your body to absorb the vitamins
- Always put produce with less juice in it first so your base can flush more flavours out
- Best mini combo (legit stealing an old work recipe here) : lemon, celery, apple
- Best big combo, lemon, celery, avocado, pineapple, spinach, passionfruit, apple. When I was in a really bad GAD spell a few months ago and couldn't get any food down this was a lifesaver

I've never commented on a video before but I just wanted to tell you that I love living vicariously through your videos. I live in upstate NY but would frequently visit Manhattan with my mom to see her boyfriend. (They were together from the time I was 4-14) It's been ten years since they broke up and haven't been back to the city since. Your videos feel both nostalgic and intriguing to me. I get to play the 'what if?' game of could I be like you if we had moved to NYC like we planned (my mom and I) I love seeing your natural, unforced life in the city. You inspire me to both visit the city and to (maybe) try to work towards a small marathon. Thanks for being my virtual, long distance friend❤️

Vegetable juice maybe? Juice is basically sugar. Plus extract the pulp, no fiber. This can be accomplished with a Magic Bullet for 40$ at Target. Cleans super easy, takes little space.

Loving the video 😊 I have the luxury of letting myself be a kid so often because of my work in daycare. Playing with the kids is actually part of my job subscription 😅 Yesterday I got to paint my clay animals I made 2 days before with the kids. Chasing the kids around, filling the space with laughter. Playing with Lego or building the highest tower with blocks. Or sitting outside eating ice cream and talking about the favorite (childhood) food, what they wanna be when they grow up. The curiosity of kids is something I aspire to. Just asking all the simple things and wondering of the world...ah adult life in the eyes of a kid is just so much better! Best job in the world ☺️
The “put your hand in there” thought is so real I get it too, with the thought of jumping off a balcony when I’m on an extremely high floor😮💨am I insane? 😅

I love running too. especially in the hills and whenever I visit my village I like to go for long runs as it's quite and peaceful and I run for like 30-40 kms 4 -5 times a week. I love people who loves running

I enjoy your vlogs so much. I lived in NYC right after grad school for four years. I live in the south now but try to return to NYC once a year to see a show and soak up the vibes. I was there for a week this past December celebrating my youngest's graduation from college. We did everything! It felt like I was living there again. I kept hoping we would bump into you or Alexa E one day. Your vlogs lets me relive that single life in NYC all over again! Thank you!!

And I’ll tell you what anytime I go to a new podiatrist or PT. They are usually super psyched that I wear Asics because they are amongst the best running shoes out there.

Great video Chelsea! Been watching your vlogs since you moved to the new place (just over 5 months). I'm a single guy living alone who basically started my life over about 2 years ago - I struggled a lot that first year. You've really shown that life is really what you make of it. There are things I want to do, and sometimes things I think I can't do, but your vlogs really do inspire me to go out and do things - often times out of my comfort zone. Thank you for opening up you life and sharing your perspective. You've really made this channel a comfortable place to be.

Hi Chelsea, I've always wanted to do ceramics, too. I'm inspired to try and find a course / event where I can have a go!! I loved your purple mug - purple's my favourite colour. BTW I'm a teaching assistant, so I often find myself doing things "out of my comfort zone" with the kids - line dancing was my last fun endeavour lol
