Hats off to Erwan and The Fat Kid Inside for always promoting Filipino culture that brings us back to our roots. These are the kinds of content that should be on trending!
Tinumis is actually one of the most loved dish in Nueva Ecija. I really love Tinumis and that's the ond I'm looking for here in Manila. Tinumis will never be complete without USBONG NG SAMPALOC and SAMPALOC itself. ✨
I grew in Nueva Ecija, and now based in Davao. My family goes in province one in awhile and whenever we would, I'd always look for this dish. What the lady said was true, I'd put down any fast food for tinumis. It's a dish I grew up eating and loving, as many would say, it's my comfort food. I wish people outside Nueva Ecija knew about this amazing dish more. Thank you sir Erwan for sharing. God bless you, Anne and your family 😊
something to be proud of as a Novo Ecijano. Finally, i’ve been waiting for this! Thank you Erwan! Huge huge fan of yours! 👌🤟 by the way Sir Erwan, people from nueva ecija, we called ourselves Novo Ecijanos. 😊❤️
Nueva Ecija is not always on the news when it comes to things like this. The very few features will be sonmuch treasured. How I love listening to these accents. Novo Ecijano!
The province of my first and last love, my late husband. This is where I learn how to eat savory dishes . Obviously that’s why I said yes to him bec. He knows how to win my heart is through my stomach. Thank you Erwan for featuring my favorite dish. Now I am drooling and I dont know where I can order online for Tinumis. Drooooolll
Hi Chef! Bgo lang ako dto sa channel mo. Im frm Parañaque Better Living and my home town is in CABIAO NUEVA ECIJA! we love TINUMIS! last week yan ang ulam nmin ng daughter ko but pure meat giniling.ayaw nmin ng laman loob.. I used sampalok mix and suka pang asim.. Soon manggang hilaw nman.. Nice vlog Chef! Stay safe and God Bless! 🌻🤗🙏
You have really nailed it with this series of 81 Provinces. This series has to be one of the best you have done and I have seen. Thanks so much. I lived in the Philippines in 1966-1967 in Cavite City. Love the people and the food.
Kahit gaano talaga kagaling yung nagagawa mo na video ang mng tao may mga mangilanngilan parin talaga na di ka ma appreciate pero sobrang galing talaga
I'm from Nueva Ecija and we don't use innards in our tinumis. We just use pigs blood and ground pork. And sampaloc leaves. Maybe this is the old school tinumis in NE, the one with the innards. I still prefer the ground pork tinumis haha.
Nakaka-miss ang Tinumis.😅 i grew up in San Miguel,Bulacan which is a town right before Nueva Ecija thats why i grew up with this kind of food. And i definitely miss it since im living abroad now. Wish i could go home soon.. Thanks for featuring this kind of food Erwann. ☺️☺️☺️
Namissed ko bigla ang nueva ecija proud novo ecijano here thank you erwan for bringing us to our hometown hinintay ko talaga to na masama sa vlog mo ang nueva ecija tinumis is the best
We also have tinumis in our hometown in Norzagaray, Bulacan. In our version, we use the meat of the pig or carabao instead of the innards. We also use different souring agents mentioned here but most of the household use sampalok. And in our town, we add vegetables in our tinumis like sitaw, pechay tagalog, mustasa leaves, green papaya, or sayote. 😊
One of my favorite food, especially my Nanay’s recipe 😍 I miss my hometown so much! A proud Novo Ecijano here. 😊🤗 Thank you for featuring/promoting our traditional recipe, TINUMIS 💕❤️
I love how Mr. Erwan features our Filipino culture especially the fact that he features it in different provinces. And talk about good video quality content! Salute to you!
In nueva ecija we cook this in 2 ways. Dried and Soupy. When prepared for a usual dinner or supper, we made this with lots of broth with tamarind leaves and we normally add mixture of minced pork belly, pork shoulders and some innards. When prepared for feast and gatherings, we prepare this by letting all the juices dried and let the meat rendered it's fat until the blood gets course and it gets fried with the oil. Also when we prepare lechon, pure offal will be used instead of meat.
This was my favorite growing up and it's my son's favorite now as well. I cook this for all my Filipino friends and I'm always surprised to hear that a lot of them never heard of this (unless they are from Nueva ecija ofc) it's hard to find the sampalok leaves here in TX, I sometimes have to ask my mom in CA to ship the canned ones for me but whenever I can cook it this way, it's always so worth the wait 😋
My father is from Nueva Ecija and my Mother is from Pampanga and I grew up in Pampanga. I think in Pampanga has "Tidtad" looks desame as this dish but we put vinegar isntead of the sampaloc. Also, the dish when cooked in firewood taste alot better than dish cooked in stove.
galing nag researcher or si Erwan mismo... tugmang tugma, every sunday is tinumis day and if may katayang baboy may tinumis na ulam usually every bisperas ng pista. proud ofw Novo Ecijano here.
Hooomaaaygaaaad! I'm not from nueva ecija but my grandmother was born there and tinumis was the signature dish of our family.. its the one dish that's been passed down to different generations.. i love it!
The drone shot is superb!!! I miss traveling. I love Filipino food, and dinuguan is one of them. I can't wait to travel again and taste different local delicacy. Thanks for showing this Ewran.

My mom is from bongabon nueva ecija, and this is the version of dinuguan that I know and love, tinumis. I’m glad we can make this dish even here in vegas... 🥰

We called it Tinumis also in Bulacan and not dinuguan at we use either dahon ng murang sampalok or sampalok and not vinegar
the way you make your vlogs is faaaantastic..
VIDEOS LIKE THIS SHOULD HAVE MORE VIEWS than those overrated, scripted prank videos by some pinoy vloggers na wala namang tinuturong maganda.
That lush rice fields, I miss it. Thank you for this. Great content as usual. 👏

My mom used to cook it but dry, and it was so yummy. Erwan can you teach us how to make homemade ice cream? With mixer and no mixer.
