30th anniversary of women ordained to the priesthood - Katrina's story

On 30 June we marked the 30th anniversary of the ordination of women to the priesthood, with a special service at Rochester Cathedral.
As we continue to give thanks for thirty years of women's priestly ministry, the Rev Canon Katrina Barnes, one of those ordained in Rochester Diocese in 1994, shares her story.

I would have been 24 when Canon Katrina was ordained and well remember the first women clerics entering the full state of Holy Orders alongside men. The current incumbent at my church is female, Rev Gayle Greenway.
