    As Thomas the Tank engine once said..."never trust locomotives with domes! MALLARD (3:45) is a world famous steam engine. Nice piano work there Chris...

      @@dieseldavetrains8988 Saw Mallard in its heyday travelling at speed on the Essendine Strait, near Grantham. It is nice piano work Dave, unfortunately... Not me!!

    The NRM is due to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and it’s a shame it’s in a dire state. It arguably peaked in the 90s and 2000s, and now they barely have anything and their long-term development plan is turning the museum into a generic children’s playground.

      @@joshslater2426 I had no idea about that. It's a National disgrace. Steam Trains may not be on the main line services, but they are very popular. I presume those running the NRM have never worked on Steam Trains.
