    I’m simply in awe of Jimmy Sakurai, he’s managed to somehow totally channel Pagey’s playing in terms of guitar tone and the riffs and fine intricacies of notes, bends, sustain and rythm, as someone has said, this is the closest you’ll ever see and hear LZ nowadays. Jimmy S also throws in the moves amd posturing so like JP back in the day, such a delight to watch, and with Jason there too what an amazing collaboration. Would be great to get John PJ up there too 👍👍⭐️⭐️

    JBLZE - The closest you'll come to Zeppelin without reuniting the band.

      Absolutely. And at a fraction of what those tickets would cost!

    Having had the great opportunity of seeing Led Zeppelin in 1971,72,73,and fourth and final time 3/5/75 in Dallas I don’t think you can get much closer than these four.

      That's an awesome statement! Thanks for that. My first concert was Led Zeppelin in 76. I was 12. Way too young to really appreciate it, but I was blown away and will never forget that experience. I wish I had caught them again.

      @@Spagz Um, hey dude. I really hate to be *that guy* but I didn't think that Led Zeppelin actually played any concerts in 1976

    Jimmy Sakurai does it the best (other than Page of course). He's even got the footstep thing down. His playing is on fire here. Jason also has taken this song to a new level with his drumming which I dare say, is even beyond John his dad.

      Hey @warptek, thanks for watching! Yeah Jimmy is awesome! As is Jason for sure. The kick drum felt like getting kicked. I was right at the speakers so I felt every beat he played. His foot speed is phenomenal. I wonder if he plays one of those old speed king pedals.

      @@Spagz Yep, saw them live 2yrs ago in Montclair , NJ and it was an awesome show. They didn't play this song though which bummed me out a little but still had a great time. Jason has gotten really good. Dare I say even better than his father?

    • @Spagz
      @Spagz  Год назад +2

      @@warptek I don't think that's an unfair thing to say. He's had much more time to learn for sure. He started much younger, with his father as his teacher. He probably does play a little better. But his dad changed so much about how rock drums were played I think. I don't think Jason could ever have his father's creativity. Nor can many others.

      All respect to Page. At this time and day i think this Jimmy can play closer to the original versions

    • @Spagz
      @Spagz  Год назад

      @@garya7893 agreed. Jimmy S has been practicing this for years, to look, sound and play note for note the way JIMMY PAGE did. Jimmy is older now, it's just life. I saw something of Jimmy playing not too long ago and he is still phenomenal but, different. And of course we all remember certain things sounding a certain way. That what Sakurai plays. It's not an insult to Jimmy I don't think.
