I wonder if all husbands invariably state their wife will get better when confronted by other folks who ask about it. Feels like it's their way of staying optimistic, or in denial. I haven't been able to figure that out yet. Hearing Rob say it about Mari, struck me odd because I've heard it the same way from my husband when someone happens to ask him about me. It seems with him I'm always on the mend. I suppose it's the logical way to answer; considering the alternative.
