This is the first person I have ever run across in my life whether in person or on social media who didn't know who Elvis Presley was/is. Wow. I would hate to review her music library. Now she can look forward to witnessing the GOAT. No. One. Comes. Close.
Actually when he first started performing he was shaking his legs because he was extremely nervous but the thing is the girls loved it so he kept doing it
Elvis was infamously shy. I mean when he took control on stage know and at other times. But he had stage fright and he was always a little nervous from the earliest days. That's why it amazes me about him as a performer is that he was able to channel that into something profound.
When she mentioned a world wide performance she may have been referring to his 73 show that was broadcast simultaneously by satellite around the world which was a first.
Yes, Elvis WAS VERY shy! Your wife is intuitive. He always had stage fright before a show, but loved performing, so once he was on the stage and interacting with an audience, he was FIRE!! We hope you continue this Elvis journey and that you both fall in love with this beautiful and talented icon.❤️❤️
“A lot of things she doesn’t know..”?😂 She was very perceptive about his shyness. It’s very apparent when he is addressing the audience. From the start Elvis wasn’t trying to be sexual with his movements. What started with nervousness, became movement with the music, and reacting to the audience. Thanks for sharing!
Please continue on your Elvis journey. If your wife wants a look at Elvis appeal show her the song " Trying To Get To You" live the 1968 comeback special. He is wearing a black leather suit. i subbed thank you
Always take the version Elvis does on Milton Bearle show , THAT is the version that got him banned on radiostations, countries and parentes freaking out !
I think what Vivi meant with "shy", is that she felt Elvis was holding his moves back. And she is perfectly right. On national TV, he couldn`t do the moves that he used to do in his concerts. And it`s also a fact that Elvis always had stage fright, especially on TV.
The 4 gentlemen clapping are, were the Jordanaires. They did the back up vocals for Elvis from 1956-1965??? Including most of the tracks from movies in that period. They also did work with Ricky Nelson and a few others.
My Chinese friend in college told me that in China they know Elvis as mao-wang or king of cats. Chinese give western celebrities their own Chinese names. I don’t know why but that interesting info always stuck with me till now.
People that knew him stated he was shy and became incredibly nervous before he performed. Right up to his last concert.
She is right. Elvis was very shy around people he didn't know.
Your lady is 100% correct Elvis was extremely shy
I was going to say the same! Lol.

How do you watch "Elvis" and not remember?! I'm baffled.
I think she nodded off for 150 minutes😊😊
He was, indeed, the first heartthrob.

Those men are The Jordanaires- a gospel vocal group

oh!I know Mao wang as the name, thank you. hahahaha, so it’s him! I remember he has a very famous picture.
Frank Sinatra was the first heart throb of music then Elvis came and dominated every genre of music 👍
