Isn't it amazing how many fleas turn up when your dog has puppies. Had the same thing happen after our dog had pups. I swear every flea for six blocks turned up. We washed mother and pups and took a week to get rid of them. Spraying the yard helps for sure. They are as cute as, and lovely colours. Good job Marybeth.😊

idk just seems to me that they could’ve kept the mother dog on flea and tick prevention and they wouldn’t have had fleas? and they’re out in the yard? of course they’re gonna have fleas. they could’ve gotten her spayed if they had the mother before she got pregnant or they could’ve prevented her from getting pregnant. just saying. good to hear that they plan on getting her spayed
We use Bronco fly spray for horses, because it keeps flies, fleas, ticks and bites bugs off of the bedding and around the area. It also has pyritherine which is marigold oil and is natural.

Marybeth if your friend has the fleas in her home she can go to her vet and get a can of knockout. That’s what used if I was having a problem. It’s safe to spray on fabrics and carpets. It’s not expensive
Pitty puppies! That first boy at the end of his bath it almost sounded like he was purring lol. Also had a sweet chunky face. 2nd one has a happy gave ready for his bath too. From the next pair of puppies, the one looks considerably smaller than the others. Runt maybe? Runts are my favorite of any animal. They usually have the best personalities that they grow into. And the runt I had as a dog and another as a cart have both outlived their siblings and also got bigger than the others in the long run. Oh my goodness the one with the get on the rear! She's totally a little princess. I'm going to guess that she'll be the feisty one of the whole bunch!
Marybeth, maybe the owner wouldn't notice if she left with one less puppy. Just kidding. They are adorable. My dog is in her 17th year and never has had fleas. I do have a marigold flea and tick spray. Maybe it helps keep them away.
Just curious as to why you didn’t remove the fleas with a comb? I wouldn’t be able to stand seeing all those fleas still on their little bodies like that.😔
I’d get mom on a safe flea prevention..numerous are safe for pregnant/nursing moms. I’d also check out wondercide, I think it’s safe to use around puppies.

I'd be using a flee comb on them so mummy doesn't have to ingest them. I've always had good luck using Palmolive Dish soap for fleas.
I use Ivory on the babies. Dawn or Ivory on the adults.
