The truth is Glen Rodgers, a serial killer, confessed to both murders and his siblings also said he told them he did it,but it was never taken is what is wrong here.
Faye Reznik told you why Nicole was killed but no one listened to her. Reznik said she (Reznik) was coping drugs from a drug dealer telling them that her friends husband was famous and was good for the money. She also said that when Nicole asked OJ for the money to pay for the drugs he refused to give it to her. Reznik said that when Nicole was killed she went into hiding for fear they would come after her. I always said OJ didn’t kill his wife and friend but he knew who did. Because there is no way a drug dealer is not going to take retribution after he was stiffed for is product. You tell me who is giving their drugs away for free? They tried to frame OJ by wearing the same kind of shoes he wore. What convinced me was upon his return from Chicago he went to the police station he was stripped search and they found nothing but the cut of his finger where OJ said that upon hearing Nicole had been killed he cut his finger picking up broken glass. They ran the luminal wand across his body and found no trace of blood and no bruises or marks like the reporter said. With all the blood it would have soaked through OJs clothes on to the body. Kato Kealin said OJ washed clothes when he got home the night of the murders then took a shower. The cops came in with the luminal solution looking for blood they found nothing. Small drops in the bronco but none on the seats. None in the bathtub and none in the washer. F.Lee Bailey, Robert Kardishian, Robert Shapiro and Alan Dershowitz would have never remained on the case if they thought OJ was guilty. Reznik’s story was enough to create reasonable doubt. But because of the sloppy police work and the sloppy work of the evidence handler plus Johnny Cochran’s attention to detail that theory was never really explored. OJ won his crime of the century case.
@SBA-ic7vt Why has that part never come out? That's not true, because they would have charged him again. The double jepordey law wouldn't protect him. They would have charged him with murder for hire, and he would have been locked up. Stupid lie you could have saved for the devil.
All the books Roland Martin and Dr Carr have read. I can’t believe they didn’t read Journey To Justice by Johnny Cochran. The book lays out the facts and shows evidence was planted in his home.
@michaelf6705 no he definitely had a cut to his hand. Ask yourself was he wearing the glove when he cut his hand. If so there would be a cut in the glove or blood inside the glove
@michaelf6705 I'd defend my reputation til I die. The fact that he didn't kill the Goldman's son is reason enough to not want to pay a person I done nothing wrong to. You should understand both. If you were framed and beat the charge would you want to pay 35 million dollars for another person's crime? The Bible says a good reputation is worth more than Rubies and Pearls.
I always heard Nicole owed drug money, Faye Resnick had other friends killed the same way in the San Fran area and OJ's daughter said that he wasn't one of the men her mom was arguing with. That explains why he had no bruises on his body. As for where I was at the time of the verdict, I was in school watching white teacher cry and my friends black laughing at them. It's amazing how people who never met any of these people were so emotionally involved over this.
@@mamilove7998I believe that. Her friend whose name was Faye Resnick, got herself put into rehab very shortly before Nicole and Ron were killed and I believe drug dealers came looking for her ass and Nicole got in the way. OJ has no reason to kill Nicole at all

The O.J. trial has been compared to the Emmett Till trial (as one example) in terms of the guilty parties being found "Innocent"--and the similar impact on the two races. One key difference is that the guilty parties in the Emmett Till trial later admitted that they were GUILTY.
Great coverage! Love the interview. I loved the insight about the fact that there were no blood reminants on OJ after he stripped down. Because he would definitely have some fight wounds if the deceased had defense wounds SMH! This will continue to be an unsolved mystery. I agree with the verdict mainly because people have been sentenced to life with less evidence - so they would've gotten him if they could've - and I agree with the verdict theoretically because its hard to believe that one person can stab two people with a knife. I don't know the scenario but you would think someone would run for help. They're not gonna just wait their turn. SMH - We'll never get to the bottom of this. Those that know have transitioned ......RIP to all 3 💔
Mostly agree...but one person can definitely stab multiple people with a knife. Knifing sprees happen all over the world (in countries where there aren't guns) all of the time.
@@mickiemallorie True. But the struggle detailed by the reporter, coupled with lack of bruises, is VERY problematic. Plus, cut on his finger, but none on the glove. No blood inside the glove for that cut. I suspect the above was more powerful for the jury than the whole glove not fitting performance.
Who remember's when Ron Goldman's father wore a Greek tie after Johnny Cochran wore an Afrikan tie at The O J - Nicole Simoson Trial ? How racist was that ?
We were given the opportunity to watch this trial at work daily. He wouldn't let his attorneys mention that Nicole was doing drugs. It never came out that Ron was gay. He was supposed to go to the blue Moon bar with his lover but chose to go to her house to take sunglasses left by her mother at the restaurant where he worked. Hence his lover was angry. Ron fought because he didn't think dude would kill him too. Furman another lover of Nicole planted the glove.Kado living there still a mystery. She received 60 thousand dollars a month child support and didn't have to live that close to him if she was scared. The bronco ride was devastation on his part. My coworkers an myself all felt Ron's gay lover did the killing out of jealousy. The knife was used from the restaurant and was never found. Restaurant torn down and O.Js home. From day one of this trial real evidence was hidden due to him having respect for her
if you’re not of a certain age you’ll never understand how big that case was.. honestly feels like it never went away and I’ve been saying for almost 30 years the media constantly looks for the next OJ case
The case was big because of the interracial relationship. White America, and much of black America, were so distracted that they were asleep when a white nationalist terrorist killed a whole bunch of white people (men, women and children) to start a race war. And we stayed asleep until quite recently. Rich, successful people kill each other all the time. And their cases never warranted nearly this much attention.

Brother😂. Read the book by his own niece. Orenthal James Simpson dropped his family and the African American community choosing rich white corporate buddies. White wife and side chicks, in white Brentwood. He only then returned to his community during the trial to serve a purpose. OJ didn’t give a damn about his community at all.
My condolences to the family of my friend OJ...I can remember vividly the kind reception that he received while visiting me during my tenure as General Manager of the Treasure Cay Resort and Marina after his trial...He was loved despite the fact that a certain quarter despised and continue to despise him...Rest In Eternal Peace my friend...
For me it was always the blood. How did this man damn near decapitate two ppl and not be covered in blood ? The blood in his car was a few drops. The blood in his house was minimal but he just murdered two ppl? Never found a knife or bloody clothes? Never made sense to me.
OJ initially said, "I'm not black, I'm OJ" when he was being pressured to join black athletes to boycott the '68 Olympics. Although OJ wasn't expected to partake in the Olympics, they still wanted him to get on board. In which he refused to do.
My condolences to his family. However, we must remember O.J. didn’t just run through airports for Hertz, he ran away from the black community. He married a white waitress who was beneath his social status, helped her family become wealthy and became crazily obsessed with the blonde. I cheered a black man’s victory over a system stacked against people of color but I did not cheer for O.J.

"Even though he was a b league actor he convinced the jury that the glove did not fit"...Mark Furman was portrayed by the defense team as a racist.." Did the glove have a cut where O.J.'s cut was located. I don't remember them saying that in the trial. The glove was small and that was the prosecutes fault for not knowing that O.J. has very large hands. I do believe that O.J. was innocent based on the evidence that was presented.
Thanks Ro for doing this special. It should be mentioned the barriers that O.J.broke as a Black athlete in America that is used as a template for cross-over success for athletes for today. The unfortunate murder situation is a story that still remains with many unresolved questions, that really became buried with the sensationalism of the court case. It also raised questions about many topics that people are uncomfortable discussing today such as interracial romantic relationships, rich Black athletes with White girlfriends, police corruption, racism, the American legal system, domestic violence and being a wealthy defendant in court.
This was an American Tragedy of Humongous Proportions! Not only were two people savagely murdered, not only was an NFL star, product spokesman, and film actor, permanently disgraced, not only were elements of law enforcement called into question and tainted unfavorably, not only was the judicial system turned into a three ring circus, but average citizens near the end of the 20th Century, were sharply split along racial and economic divides as a result of this trial. They'll be talking about this case in law schools for the next two hundred years.
I'm here because I wanted to see the first OJ commercial long before hertz. Does anyone remember OJ comparison to a 1970 Chevy in a zero to 60 race? You know, the commercial seemingly written by folks who look at us as a bunch of John Henry's 😅
@rolandsmartin_Tap_Profile_msg I think it is important that you came out with a different perspective of OJ and his legacy to counter the noise and rehashing to further turnish any of his legacy by all means necessary witnessed on mainstream media still not able to desinguish between OJ and Lee Harvey Oswald. As to where I'm from, well, that would be Lou-zee-ana. "You can take the man out of Lou-zee-ana, but you can't take Lou-zee-ana out the man." Left there 50 years ago and never looked back.
If there was no OJ, there would be no MJ, LeBron, Shaq, etc., the list is endless. I always believed the trial was a grotesque experiment in media manipulation. I watched the trial and it differed substantially from what the likes of Geraldo Rivera and Nancy Grace were pushing. A whole lot of people made money from that spectacle. Justice was not done for Brown and Goldman.
I remember and I’m 38. Sitting in a dark classroom listening to the verdict and OJ found not guilty! The cheers were crazy for a man to get away with murder. Or was he framed? 🤷🏾♂️

No evidence was planted. Oj was a killer and a wife beater. I wonder why Roland Martin didn't mention OJ was a wife beater. 🤔 We all know why.
Didn't his defense team change his home to a pro-black mecca! When OJ wasn't pro-black. However the LAPD was accused of planting evidence.
R.I.P to SF’s own O.J. Simpson. Condolences to his family.

@@Hilarious-iu6ld😂 your mad. Mad for 30 years😂
@@Hilarious-iu6ldwell say the same thing for Robert Blake when he bought the farm. People were praising his acting and he got away with murder too
Cut on the hand but no cut in the glove or blood inside of the glove. OJ didn't do it.
I still believe he didn't do. But he knows who did it. Buried with him now.
@beverleyreid563 the police also know. Glen Rodgers is a serial killer that confessed to the murders.
@michaelf6705 no he definitely had a cut to his hand. Ask yourself was he wearing the glove when he cut his hand. If so there would be a cut in the glove or blood inside the glove
@Infinite.Worldz no delusional is ignoring facts and believing the racist that planted evidence
Resse is the BOMB. 😊 She is the TRUTH for speaking up for our people😊
The thing about this case is that the news media had this man guilty before even a trial!!! I thought, so typical of this country!!!
Exactly
That’s what they do essentially if your Jewish your guilty thumbs down when it comes to them they’re the most racist people on the planet
And that was the First Mistake
So typical
I always heard Nicole owed drug money, Faye Resnick had other friends killed the same way in the San Fran area and OJ's daughter said that he wasn't one of the men her mom was arguing with. That explains why he had no bruises on his body. As for where I was at the time of the verdict, I was in school watching white teacher cry and my friends black laughing at them. It's amazing how people who never met any of these people were so emotionally involved over this.
Her friend looked just like Nicole. Nicole wasn't the target that other woman was.
@@mamilove7998Nicole was the target of OJ. Don't lie
@@Hilarious-iu6ldAnd you know this becsuse she told you??
@@mamilove7998I believe that. Her friend whose name was Faye Resnick, got herself put into rehab very shortly before Nicole and Ron were killed and I believe drug dealers came looking for her ass and Nicole got in the way. OJ has no reason to kill Nicole at all

Please, let's not forget Latasha Harlins, those people say nothing when we face injustice.
Say It Again
the Tale of Two Americas: one Black, one White (Caucasian); in (South Central) Los Angeles, there are Asians (as in ("rooftop") Korean grocery owners) and Latinos; 1990's Rodney King verdict; the L.A. riots; poor Latasha Harlins (RIP) vs. Soon Ja Du; a unfortunate (Caucasian) truck driver, Reginald Denny, got his butt beat up. (June 1994): I wonder what would happen if AC (Cowlings) drove OJ (to Mexico); the border crossing toll booth would be in the way. the O.J. Simpson case has to be the (real) first reality TV show, before "KUWTK" (Keeping Up with the Kardashians), premiered on the E! Entertainment (basic cable) channel. I was glued/hooked to the TV screen since Day 1. To quote the great Paul Mooney: “The complexion for the protection, for the collection.”
You can add 2020 X president instructs mob to over throw the government and is part of murder and other criminal acts and still haven't had a trial for it. We definitely live in a society that favor one way
The O.J. trial has been compared to the Emmett Till trial (as one example) in terms of the guilty parties being found "Innocent"--and the similar impact on the two races. One key difference is that the guilty parties in the Emmett Till trial later admitted that they were GUILTY.
If it doesn't fit.
You must acquit🤪
Those that know have transitioned ......RIP to all 3 💔
I agree.
Rest in PISS, OJ. The victims are the 2 people OJ killed

The OJ trial was race baiting. Thats all Johnny Cochran did was racebait. He was not African.
None.... Nothing racist about it.

RIP O'Jay - Thank you for the update Roland Martin.
THANK YOU Mr. Roland Martin FOR KEEPING US INFORMED
From day one of this trial real evidence was hidden due to him having respect for her
More like 30 per month. I would have moved to another part of the country, but no, she wanted to stay around her family and drug using friends.
There's no way he could ever have committed that murder. That is a professional job.He was never trying to kill
if you’re not of a certain age you’ll never understand how big that case was.. honestly feels like it never went away and I’ve been saying for almost 30 years the media constantly looks for the next OJ case
Truth. Can’t believe it’s been 30 years

He was acquitted in 1995 bruh not 1994. The trial went on a year.

Brother😂. Read the book by his own niece. Orenthal James Simpson dropped his family and the African American community choosing rich white corporate buddies. White wife and side chicks, in white Brentwood. He only then returned to his community during the trial to serve a purpose. OJ didn’t give a damn about his community at all.
Its a simple answer , He didnt do it, how about that. Thats what the Jury said.😊

For me it was always the blood. How did this man damn near decapitate two ppl and not be covered in blood ? The blood in his car was a few drops. The blood in his house was minimal but he just murdered two ppl? Never found a knife or bloody clothes? Never made sense to me.
For me it was also the blood and so much more
OJ initially said, "I'm not black, I'm OJ" when he was being pressured to join black athletes to boycott the '68 Olympics.
The same applies to Tiger Woods. Hopefully, he doesn't get entangled with a murder. He is the current OJ.

The guest just went down a road of trying to retry OJ case. Furman said he did not use the n-word, but was recoded saying that word over and over and over. Had to stop watching this one.

Right smh
Um Furman was racist
Almighty God will judge us all!! 🙏👏
Amen Amen ❤
Stress is deadly.
Did the glove have a cut where O.J.'s cut was located. I don't remember them saying that in the trial. The glove was small and that was the prosecutes fault for not knowing that O.J. has very large hands. I do believe that O.J. was innocent based on the evidence that was presented.
And those kinds of gloves is not one takes to commit murder
Roland the drug story is the key for the murder. Not told
RIP O.J.
OJ we supported you because we loved you. We still do. Wishing you a peaceful journey to the land of our ancestors.
you.. not we.

One thing they cannot take away from OJ Simpson was his football football career they tried.
Excellent segment by all.
OH IF ANYBODY BLACK THINKS HE DID IT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
