Hi Liz, I find something else to tweak or rethink in our kitchen plan with each of your videos. I know it is good to start with, but we need another set of eyes on it. Mark & Scott
ohhh I am so happy to see another video full amazing content from you. IN my area no one has walk in closets we all have to buy wardrobes. so the doors are all across ( does that make sense)
Got so excited when ur video dropped. Great advice! Until watching your videos I never realized about the closet door eating space. So true! Learnt something about bed Feng Shui too.
We used to have bypass (sliding doors) going into the master closet. We renovated it about 10 years ago. Contractor suggested a pocket door instead. My husband and I were hesitant because of poor quality pocket doors in our youth. Contractor said pocket door hardware has improved. Using pocket door allowed us to follow Liz design recommendations (door in middle of closet entry, avoid losing closet space to door swing) and, we have just as much door opening as old bypass doors but much more usable closet space! Win, win, win!
@@verntom4628 we built shelves on the inside closet wall. The other side of the wall is the master bath. We did put a full length mirror on the outside of the pocket door. (It fits and the door still opens and closes easily).

I’m excited you’re excited! It’s fascinating when you get into the details of feng shui. It makes sense while still being mystical🧘

Hooray!
What do you have on the wall (pocket) that the door slides into? Hooks? Shelving?
