Any1 from BW here? Lets drive to Zanzibar, Tanzania! I'm inspired by Liv Kenya💪💪💪
Can you drive to Zanzibar? Just curious
@@lebonetshenolo1946 Wonderful
Lets go🎉
Bata is an international brand. We have a Bata Shoe Museum here in Canada. Bata was founded by Thomas Bata - a Czech whose family expanded it all over the world especially in British colonies including India. My late uncle worked at Limuru Bata back in the 70s and 80s as a labourer. Very interesting
I used to think it’s Kenyan because their is a company in Limuru Kenya😂
I thought the founder was indian
Mother county of Bata shoe company is CANADA
❤ Even in DRCongo 🇨🇩 same
South Africa as well, there is Bata shoes shop everywhere. I am beginning to think that Bata is a Volkswagen of shoes now. I thought it was a South African brand.
Southern Africa is very intentional on infrastructure. Their roads are class and the towns and cities look clean and well organised. Following the trip religiously
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts I appreciate
Very impressed, Botswana is really beautiful.
Nothing makes a country beautiful if policies and laws are not properly followed, the discipline of the citizens determines the beauty and progress of the nation🎉🎉
That's for sure
Nope. The discipline of the leadership determines the beauty and progress. The Botswana government really supports it's citizens and does right by them, even paying for their university, they own their mines rather than selling out to foreign companies.
This road trip series has made me realise that Kenya is far much ahead than all those countries you passed through apart from South Africa.Kenga has everything developed including roads amenities like hotels supermarkets etc.Kenya is blessed and Kenyans don't know
You are not seeing the whole picture. Here is the following stats: Botswana Human Development Index(HDI) 2023 is 0.71, Kenya HDI for 2023 is 0.61, Zambia HDI 2023 is 0.60, Zimbabwe HDI 2023 is 0.59, South Africa HDI 2023 is0.713, Nigeria HDI 2023 is 0.535. Nigeria life expectancy from birth is 52.7 years. Compare that with countries in the Carribean for example Barbados HDI for 2023 is 0.79 and life expectancy is 79.62 years, this is according to MacroTren. There are different entries collecting data at different times. Barbados had a dip in life expectancy due to Covid. They have since rebound.
@@mandyb6414don't mind him just another prideful Kenyan with an obsseded superiority complex.
@@jaro5603😂😂😂😂
Episode 7 was awesome seeing the elephants walking across the road. Nice to see you had a smooth entry experience at the Botswana border. My experience at the Malawi northern border was terrible entering from Tanzania. One day Africa will improve its customer service at the border crossing. With 54 countries, Africa has to unite as one country......Keep up with the excellent traveling content. Astana sana.
Botswana are very serious about their country and loved the way it was smooth at the border. Thanks for watching
I'm from Southern Africa and have been watching your videos on this great journey to Cape Town. Great content. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for the next Episode.
Thank you 🙏🏾 glad you enjoying the episodes
Watching from Zambia, we love our Neighbours 🇧🇼🇿🇲❤
This was your most interesting video yet, because in addition to covering the peculiarities and uniqueness of Botswana, you also included a couple of clips of you chatting with locals, which adds immensely to the quality of the video. Glad you to see your improvement as you approach your destination.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Liv Kenya, Botswana is a country with one language group of people. Bantu language called Tswana.
No other local language. the other language is English.
Great people I would like to get to such a journey. Cape town to Cairo via Nairobi.
James Bogere London but I hail from Uganda.
I applaud your brevity.
God bless you.
Thank you for the info and go for it. It's possible
Continue with what u are doing…..coz u are uniting us from different parts of Africa….👊🏾
What an amazing trip, Botswana looks beautiful with all the elephants roaming around freely. 👏
Botswana looks like a country i can live..keep showing us Africa Liv Kenya.
The hub mall there in francistown is owned by billionaire humphrey kariuki.....also owns the hub in karen
Is this verified information?
Most of the mals in Botswana r owned by Indians,. No kenyan own a mall here 😮
I did this trip in 2006 same route.10 days from Nairobi to cape town and 7days back it was awesome.
We drove a Pajero Mitsubishi.
Good work Liv. This will change some of Kenyans minds who always think that there is nothing in other African countries better than in Kenya. Botswana low population best organized.
Yes 🙌 thanks for watching
They r soo many things which r in Kenya, but r not in Botswana
Thank you for the episode it feels like I am driving with you guys ,I am South African and Botswana 🇧🇼, I like how you are traveling to Cape Town via Botswana .
❤following keenly and learning alot as we enter Congo from Rwanda today.....following on your footsteps, you have always made our traveling easier because from your videos, we get to prepare ahead.....can't wait for a joint travel with you guys
Awww thank you Mwakazis I really like it when I see people get inspired to travel courtesy of my channel. Thank you 🙏🏾
@@LIVKENYA we are heading to our country number 4 (Burundi) today. Was talking with Thee Pluto and when we finish this trip we need to meet and plan a massive trip together
Always excited for a new episode
Look at how organized Botswana is. They have a really impressive road network plus the quality of their roads is topnotch. We should benchmark uku tukianza ku-upgrade our Motorways.
Botswana has a lot less corruption. Hence better roads and more smooth any kind of service.
Kenyans will never have the discipline to respect traffic rules. It’s shameful that you can put up traffic light for example in eldoret then take them off due to accidents for lack of discipline. Crazy stuff.
I have been looking forward for Botswana. That is a beautiful country. The wait has been worth it 🎉🎉😂❤
Glad to hear that 😊
Great job my fellow Kenyans, following u from Washington DC and loving ur trip and energy!!

@livkenya out here showing us one can slay while travelling, and while driving @that💕.
Their accent sounds positively South African (as in .za) with the rolled "r" as in kerrrots for carrots. 19 minutes in and the episode keeps getting better and better.
Yes they sound the same
Botswana has 2million population of which is different ethnicities. While South have 5 million Batswana .

Really astonishing: Kenya and Botsuana are almost the same size. But Kenya has 20 times as many people as Botsuana.
Karibu Botswana Liv and company. I am happy you finally passed through my home country 🇧🇼
Great information on the video.
Also thanks for showing the hotel room of Gaborone Hotel. I always wondered what it looked like inside 😅

Thank you
I have just REMEMBERED the aromat AD .it was lit!! Everything tastes good.but with aromat, its unbelievable!!!
It's a very popular ingredient in the southern African country
The efficiency at the Botswana borderi is impeccable ❤
It's like being in a fancy Masai Mara with all those elephants crossing...this road trip has become really grown on me. It's the only content I really look forward to watch cause it's proven to me that nothing is so out of reach that these things are doable as an Avid team Liv I look forward to replicating this journey from Kenya to S.A
I am glad the series is an inspiration. I can't wait to get feedback from your trips. It's totally worth it
I have been waiting for this! Awesome! I definitely love Botswana...Your video is great. All the way from the Zambia/Botswana border. Now visiting Botswana shall be one my very soon projects... you do a great job @livkenya
Awesome! Thank you!
Liv Kenya thanks for making me travel i feel i have reached this all this places physically especially Livingston wonder 🌊 waters.
Lemi first stop at Meru to refuel my car😂😂😂😂🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬
Seems like Zambia has the worst roads in the countries you've covered. Despite that, Victoria falls has been the highlight of the trip. Can't wait for episode 8.
This is so amazing, I'm loving it!
The wildlife Botswana😍😍😍But it's so expensive ..even the room is the most expensive since y'all started the journey
Yes its expensive
Beautiful inspiration, you made xmass for me! I really didn't travel much this year but watching you was alone satisfying. Also you entire crew is natural and energetic especially "Adia our history teacher". Journey mercies and hope to Join you on one of the expeditions. Thank for daring! (JOEL FROM 256)
Thank you so much Joel for watching. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed
Interesting that someone in Botswana could recognize athletes just by look.😮
🤣🤣🤣🤣 The athletic look. They all know Kipchoge the legend so they can easily relate
It's funny and strange that petrol in Kenya is more expensive than in Zambia a landlocked country, that only shows one thing consumers in Kenya are overtaxed and the oil barons in Kenya overexploit Kenyans, otherwise how do you explain price difference between Kenya and Zambia?
I think different countries get different prices depending on their Human Development Index. Let's see what the prices will be like in countries like Botswana and South Africa.
@@chrisamoi8663 I didn't know human development index gets to be considered when buying fuel. Beauty of RUclips. You always live and learn. Thank you.
@expatbiker6598 have you ever asked yourself why fuel in developed countries are higher? In the UK they pay more than 400 per litre. Why is that the case?
I am paying 100 shillings per liter in U.S. it is $2.49 per gallon. 1 gallon is 3.79 liters. Transportation and taxes is the reason for high prices
Zambia does not consume as much oil. The demand is lower than Kenya. Increase demand generally increases prices
We have spaletta pinenut in Tanzania and switch too
Girl you go places...you know what you have carried me virtually....next take me to Maldive
inspiring for many of us.. well-done
Your growth is immense ,you are budget traveller who makes content easy to understand.
Keep it up .
Incase you need to upgrade you car ,I can help you sell that one and a get you a good deal on a new one as a cardealer.
Botswana 🇧🇼 looks dope

Thank you so much Peter for tuning in
Twende sanaa hii trip ilikua moto sanaaa 👊👊👊👊🤟🤟
Very impressive trip. You guys are almost in South Africa
The border post is sooo deserted ....our one stop border post in holili, namanga, busia are soo busy ... especially with cargo trucks ....moving across the borders ..manned with multiagencys ie DCI,customs,KRA,KEBS ,KEPHIS .we even have a a scanner esp at namanga ....i like the comparison ...but i. See very little intercounty businness the kenya boder post are teaming with lines and lines of cargo trucks going to neighbouring countries
