“A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.” My Kenyan sisters proud of you
I'm a South African and I've been following you guys since episode 1. You came so far and indeed there is a crime in South Africa but my advice is that if you always put that in front of yourselves, I can guarantee you that you won't enjoy your journey. My advice is that be open minded and you'll enjoy Mzansi (South Africa).
Aside from the epic travel bits, the real MVP of this entire series is the car. The fact that it made it all that way without major problems. Subaru Kenya should sponsor these videos, this is a good advert for the durability of those cars.
The xenophobia concern made me chuckle, it has honestly been my first time seeing such a concern expressed in such a real way - like we are fighting it daily or something. I hope your experience showed you what daily life for a non-South African Black person in South Africa is like. Oh it's not 10 officially languages, it's 12(sign language included)and many more unofficial languages. Looking forward to the next episode.❤
Hi Lebo, yes my experience turned out pretty well and I met really friendly South Africans. Thanks for correcting me on the language part and thanks for watching

In SA , you’ll feel like u r in different country in each n every province, like those drinks u won’t found them in some province, ull find new ones. Even weather is different inland and coastal provinces
Welcome to Afrika-Dzonga, Those Documentaries are there to keep away Africans from South Africa, We have 11 languages or you can say 12 with sign language, not 10. Wish you were here this Dezemba (December) everyone is outside and more visitors from all over the world. Can't wait for the next episode
Epic, Just Epic. Welcome to South Africa - Ur journey has been very inspirational. Africa is our home, Lets enjoy it. You have no idea how much I am inspired to do a trip all the way to Kenya now. Keep inspiring all Africans and flying the Flag of Kenya high.
I like the city... It looks organized. Small population, yes but still modern and well maintained. A must-visit for me. And having good internet is a major plus. Thanks @livkenya👏👏👏
The number of official languages in SA are 11 not 10. Every country has areas that are safe and not safe, including Kenya. The issue of xenophobia is sometimes exaggerated. It sound like as long as one is a foreigner from other African country, automatically you are targeted. What the media don't say is how many foreigners from all over Africa are living amongst South Africans in harmony for decades. South Africa doesn't have refugees camps, we accommodate refugees in our space. Some criminals from other countries hide behind xenophobia. That's why we have over 18 000 convicted criminals who are not South Africans. Having said that, African migrants in our country really enjoy their stay. Many decided to make SA their permanent home. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for taking your time to explain the situation clearly. I now understand it. Thank you for watching and stay tuned for more episodes about SA. We loved your country
As a Kenyan living in Botswana i can attest to the plentiful curvy & agreeable girls here. There is a plethora of natural & un-siliconed Vera Sidikas everywhere! & very humble too. Kenyans here joke that - you can pick a random chic here & drop her anywhere in Nai & she'll be the curviest, flat tummied girl around. Ile utamu iko huku, wacha tu!
One of the best episodes of the series after Livingston stop over. The Gaborone exploration/ the vibe of the people/ traffic fines(scary). Then the anxiety of entering Mzansi and the excitement at the same time. I'm sure you later learnt that the anxiety was just fear of the unknown...
Botswana is same size like Kenya but with only 2 million people. Gaborone carries more than half of that population. Of couse small cities are well managed and organised. But I enjoy big cities because it gives cities vibe and bountiful opportunities even in the midst of all chaos that comes with big cities.
Great video as always Liv Kenya, you are Kenya's modern day female version of Vasco Da Gama. One Observation I've made from your trips in Zambia toBostwana to South Africa is that they don't have the insane greedy land subdivisions along the roads that's witnessed in Kenya today. one can actually go on a road trip an enjoy the views and landscapes. Mambo ya buroti maguta maguta hakuna huko. Very visionary people led by visionary leaders
That intro song is 🔥... kindly share the artist... Started following your journey from the Road trip to Rwanda...Nice Content Liv Kenya ❤️ from Tanzania.
I'm enjoying your journey. Have watched all the 8 episodes now. Beautiful! Here's a fun fact about "xenophobia" in SA. The term is only used against SAns. SA has the biggest population of other African immigrants than any other African country and they're striving, most have great lives. It's only those who want to commit crime, drug paddlers and human traffickers whom I always ask why aren't they called xenophobic for leaving their countries to sell drugs to South Africa kids who are black. Shouldn't that be seen as Afrophobia? 95% of Domestic, hospitality workers, in SA are from Zimbabwe. We have a lot of Lecturers in our universities who are Nigerian, Zimbabweans, etc. All those are never bothered because they do not commit any crime. Oh by the way my Head of Dept. is Kenyan.
This is where i always come when i need motivation to keep moving as a new youtuber. There is no day that passes without me watching a video on your channel Liv

About the customer service, if you're Kenyan you should give other countries some grace. Kenyan customer service is insanely high standard. I was shocked at how much better it is than in both France and Italy. I was not expecting that at all.
I like U and i like the way you speak, maybe one day i see you touring the USA. Original i am Afro Jamaican. Keep up the good work.I will surprise you and say , a lot of black in North and south America and the Caribbean has never heard of Botswana.
The population of Gaborone is the same as Juja Constituency and the whole Botswana as Nairobi! Kenya is overcrowded no wonder land prices are crazy especially in urban areas or anywhere close to an urban area. Lovely trip you’ve really inspired me to consider doing this one day.

Bottomline, governments have the power to choose what their currency will exchange for with other currencies and mostly they fix this rate. Kenyan shilling is a floating currency and its movement is determined by market forces/dynamics. Don't take an exchange rate on its face value. Outside of these countries borders, who is willing to take/transact with these currencies?
