I don't know why a have this obsession about Your channel. Is it all about the boats, interiors with clever solutions, white noise or You - a perfect gentleman. You are very thorough and always give just the perfect amount of information. Very professional, informative and humble. No I want to have a boat LOL. Thank You and stay safe!!!
This is exactly what i would like to have. Managable by my self, goes through canals but still perfect for a long weekend trip with 4 adults. And in a price range that is obtainable. What a beauty.
Really like the cabin layout on this one. And you wouldn't have to rob a bank or win the lotto to own it. Glad you decided to keep the beard looks good on you.
I'm always a bit surprised how these older boats hold their value, I mean yes they are looked after but they are basically a big car on water. A car that cost £20k new 14 years later even with low mileage will be £1k so I would expect a yaght to be the same depreciation as they age just the same. But I don't expect this Sunseeker to have been £4.7 million 😄 why do people still pay so much?
@@nothingsurprisesmeanymore It's because it's been built by a quality company and it's been maintained perfectly. This boat still would have devalued , but you can tell it's been built to a high standard of care. Comparing this boat to a Volkswagon Golf doesn't make sense, instead compare it to something like a '06 Ferrari F430. Brand new in the UK it was about 120k pounds, 14 years later the best maintained models are still selling for around 100k.
Excellent! For a boat that age it’s been really well looked after! The cabin is stunning. Sound quality is great, need a few more videos to properly gauge it though. I know you’ve all been let out of your boxes over there but it’s still not gone away. Continue to stay safe Nick!
Great video, as usual. Discovered your channel in lock down, on furlough and judging by your daily growing subs that’s me and about 20k others in the last weeks. Helping us dream about some freedom. Excellent work.
Improved Sound: THANKS. VERY FINE PACKAGE, this Sunseeker Portofino. Just right for a weekend of coasting with the family. Engines, layout, materials are outstanding. Trim looking boat.
I’m had a Regal 35 for a couple of years and miss it so much. Love this chap. Bless him I do like it a bit more when i “might” afford the boat hes showing us. ❤️
Great boat , fantastic condition for 2006, all original, good clean and well looked after someone is going to be very happy to own this. New mic is working great ,no excess noise only your voice clear and concise
Thanks for the tour. I appreciate the tours of sub-500k boats. Much more realistic propositions than the multi million gin palaces. Like other viewers, I love a boat that I can drive myself, even single handed and doesn't require winning the lottery to own. Welcome back!
Microphone works a treat. Love the styling of this boat, it looks like it's going places even when it's moored. Two bathrooms on a boat this size is a plus and it's superb condition. Want one, can't afford one, yet
Welcome back! This is a cracking boat, a good friend of mine had the exact same boat as this, and it was great, we had many hours of fun in it, interestingly he sold it just before the 2008 recession, I remember that he amazingly lost very little in depreciation, also the build quality was outstanding. Fantastic memories came flooding back, and that folding table worked a treat. Thanks Nick, for bringing that little gem to the table, excellent. I just sent him the link, just to rub it in, he always said he regretted selling her.
@@AQUAHOLIC just got off the phone with him, the term "sick as a parrot" comes to mind. Yes he was very lucky, he was being re-located with his job to Germany at the time.
I was wondering when my buffer of your archive was going to run out. I'd rationed myself to two videos per evening (all book marked). So life is now back to... normal - Aquaholic is alive!!! Yipeee. So pleased. Well done, Thanks very much. X
I would greatly enjoy a video, or a series of videos focused on how to evaluate a boat. What should you look for when buying a new or a used boat. Things to avoid, "defects" that are easily repaired. That sort of thing. Love your videos so far!
Another great vlog. It's amazing all of the different yachts there are. You will be busy for a long time. And we will watch for an even longer time. Thank you for your dedication to entertaining us through these crazy times. Hats off to you. Other channels stopped but you kept going. Stay safe Nick. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank You very much. I saved this video all day, just to enjoy it in close partnership with a big size quality beer this evening. I have enjoyed your walks, but this is the cream of your channel. Your personality can carry a nature walk, but your boat walks are still balm for the very soul :) Thanks again :)
Glad you're out and about Nick. Hopefully the states will be opened soon. I'm heading to my little corner of the "water" next week to open up my boat. Only difference ths year, I have a trendy Aquaholic towel. Stay safe but have fun everyone.
This is a seriously nifty bit of kit, a very useable layout and with all births full it wouldn't be overcrowded. Thanks for the tour of a very nice boat. Keep washing your hands and stay safe. 👍👍👍🚢🛥⚓⛴🛳☠🚤⛵😎
As noted by others - the new mic works well. Welcome back to tours. Nice choice of boat to look at. I do love some of the smart features such as the fold away cockpit table. Great use of space. Also noticed the semi-circular foldout table downstairs. That also was smart space usage. All that was needed to add further value was Aquaholic cushions everywhere.
Mic seems to work pretty well, Nick. This is a pretty tempting boat. You could have a great time harbour-hopping your way around the UK, and at that size you could make it quite a distance inshore on the rivers & canals. I know a good little dock in Leeds with a fab curry house and moorings just the right size for this sort of boat.
Agree, my boats have always been steel Dutch cruisers when I lived on the Frisian lakes, but now I'm in the UK (and have been for over a decade) and regaining interest in having a boat to get away from the mundane, a boat like this is definitely tempting! I know a nice little dock in Sheffield... ;)
Ben Mountford depending if you’re a curios engineer as myself and would maintain/service as much as possible myself or take a lesson or two on how to, to cut cost.
Dr Clumber I’ve owned a narrowboat for years - it’s definitely worth it! Much cheaper to run than “lumpy water” boats... I’ve also tried to persuade Nick to review a narrowboat - but not convinced him yet.
@Ben Mountford This won't be a cheap boat to run, but it is not going to cost anywhere near as much as you state here. We used to run our Grouwster Vlet (appr. 10 mtr) for under €3000 a year. Obviously a coastal vessel will be more expensive - but then this is Poly and not steel, so painting costs aren't part of the picture. I reckon if you spend more than 10K a year (plus diesel) on this boat you are being mugged. Be interesting if Nick could do an episode on this! @Aquaholic
Sunseeker really knocked it out of the park in the mid 2000’s...beautiful and well equipped. Nick you do some of the best reviews. Always a pleasure. Thank you!
Good to see you back doing new videos. Fast out of the traps and all set-up with One Marine - professional as always!! Lovely layout and great boat for the money. Wishing you the very best in the weeks and months ahead. Hopefully some the boat shows will happen and that you will manage to get to them 'By Hook or by Crook' ;)
Absolutely great to see you "Back in business" Nick. Looking forward to new videos. And thank you so much for keeping us going during lockdown with the walkaholic videos. Your a good man!! Keep up the great work.
Wow for 2006 just in amazing shape! Things like the light wood, flat screens, and the modern sink bowls make this boat feel way newer than it is! Defiantly a bargain for someone looking in this price point! Also great new microphone Nick, it really helped with the wind!
Good to have you back! I was getting worried i wouldn't be able to get my yacht fix! Thats a solid looking boat, and doesn't seem as dated as some of the other older ones you've shown.

Nice boat, just the right size for weekends as owner operator. Foldaway cockpit table is a big hit for me too. In great condition for its age, and not badly priced either. Microphone good too.
Great boat at a great price, another bonus is the massive sea food platter hanging off the swim platform. You do not go hungry to bed with this boat :) Cheers Nick, great to see you out and about or should I say out and aboat(I'll get my coat)
Great new video Nick, beard and sound good. Like the mention of holiday home being a boat, one way to convince my wife. Liked your early morning walk around Brixham bay last month, marina facilities certainly seem great down there.
Welcome Back . Nice boat but expensive considering it's a 2006. I know is a Sunseeker but I prefer a Sessa 47 that is more modern style with a master cabin on center and IPS transmission at less price than Portofino . Ciao from italy
